I actually considered moving to canada when I found out that our Queen was on your money as well as ours. I figured I could just take all my money over and spend it 1:1 without losing any in exchange fees.
The I found out canadian money was worth like 30% of british money :(
erm guys i think that this post was for us not in the north american continent to wine about being shafted again like we allways do, not who got served when?
any who i dont think they will even give us prize support as they are obivously giving up any sort of competitive games over here, sigh.
im all up for a pc where ever the hell you like as long as it aint in the us drive! pro circuits shouold be about the best player playing and to me that means making better access for every one.
As someone living in Ontario, I've been led to believe that Toronto is the center of the universe and therefore would be the best place to hold a PC.
Then again I don't live in Toronto so I have some suspicions about it actually be the center of the universe.
Anyway ... for those interested, the last sneak peek events had a down turn in the ammount of prize support so the 'chances' of winning a tin, a playmat and a shirt became sort of 'the chances of winning a tin OR a playmat OR a shirt.
I had to go to two events, get lucky during a random draw, and outright win a couple of the events to get the total package.
Just saying that the guaranteed EAs aren't so bad ... not to mention that having the 'chance' to win the extra swag doesn't mean too many people will end up leaving with it.
Also, I do recall that UDE did say it was trying to rectify things and that the X-Men thing was a specific situation and not something that would likely be repeated.
But it's easier to just be cynical and claim that UDE has a vendetta against the British Monarchy and is going to blow up parliament on the fifth of November.
Just a reminder, everyone needs to go see V for Vendetta ...
