well..... the art looks a bit too vertical for a playmat.... but it would look pretty cool.
but, i think having the same art on both the playmat and the shirt (and... ummm... isn't it card art too??) is a bit much...

I think these last two mats are pretty good looking. I think it might be the black though. It was friggin awesome on the Jean Grey mat, so I figure it'll be awesome with some lightning behind it.

I personally like this mat

Dr. Fate and Captain Marvel were two of our favorites, and it worked out so that Dr. Fate looked better on the t-shirt (vertically), and Captain Marvel on the playmat (widescreen).

We also have to start working on design of these items before all the art is due. We commision some of the art early so that we have it to use for ads and stuff, but sometimes a piece comes in late and we're very sad we can't use it for one of the additioanl items.

And anyone who thinks the GL mat is better than MXM or DCR really should stop drinking before noon. :)

I don't really care for that double dragon mat. I mean, it has nothing to do with vs., magic, or yugi. and its probably some cheap screen printed one.

If you've seen these, they suck.

I think I'd rather have Oprah on my playmat than captain marvel.

Actually, I have seen the double dragon mat and they are exactly the same as the VS mats we see - the feel, texture, the look.

You should look at the item before knocking it.

I'll knock it those suck, what do they have to do with VS???

Go back to Yugi if you want crap like that on your playmats.

I'm with Mr. Drago. The MXM Phoenix playmat and this Captain Marvel playmat are absolutely gorgeous. Those two and the original Total Anarchy playmat are by far my favorites. That image of Capt Marvel by Alex Ross just destroys that Dr. Fate image. And I love Dr. Fate. But really, that is one mighty impressive picture of Billy.

I don't think the Total Ank is anything special. I mean, its nice, just doesn't make me wanna go out and buy it off of ebay.
