80 in costa mesa, the numbers went down significally, I think because no leaked spoiler, like seriously, when x-men spoiler was leaked, every1 went because they wanted to get everything they saw on the spoiler IMO.

Thats too bad, sounds like VS is all but officially dead in Europe.

We have never had huge turnouts but I think it was by far the worst turnout we have had for a prerelease.

I totally agree. This prerelease was much more fun than Xmen even though there even less prize support, as every card was new to us. Pulling the alternate art for the set was fun :)
Detroit had 42 for our Main event, a decline from X-Men.
I don't have the exact numbers, but I believe that more people have shown up to Marvel events than DC. I personally find the actual comics of DC to be superior, but the general populace must not agree in my area.
Atlanta had mid-50s, but there was a PTQ in town the same day which bled off some of the normal attendees. Also, there was a bit of post-PC "YOu're going to go play that card game again!?!?!" absences. It was a decline, but I'm hoping this is an isolated occurence.
I think its not surprising if numbers were a little down. X-men is still I believe the best selling comic mag in the world, and infinite crisis is......
well its been fun, it was a good set. but a name with an X sells more.
And I know some folks are a little miffed about the time frame of legality to the SF pro, and are just taking a break.
Louisiana had around 14 or so people for out prerelease(I still don't understand why it is in a city with no VS player presence instead of Baton Rouge)
Our numbers were down by 20 plus....which is probably like 75%....Xmen boasted near 40 and we had 13 for the first flight and then maybe 10 second flight...I think people here hate DC
