I really could care less about Superboy's treatment, I think it's cool that he has the ability to cause a swing in endurance totals, plus can guarentee a stun. He will always make a difference, that is a pretty cool representation.
As for Dr. Fate, i think what they were trying to do with this set was show that anybody could be Dr. fate if they had to be, anybody could take the heln. Dr. fate isn't powerful, the artifacts he weilds are. With all those artifacts on Dr. fate on 8, it's gonna take a bit of work for your opponent to take him down, +4 +4 a good deck mill to refresh your hand and he can't be targeted, what is the problem with that?
Maxwell lord has a raw ability of mind control. His card couldn't be more perfect. He can force someone out of teamwork, reinforcement, and stop them from using their powers... WHERE THE HECK IS THE PROBLEM?!?!
did you want a 5drop with an 8 drops ability? or did you want max lord to be an 8 drop? maybe he'll get one in the future, these teams will need legacy content you know.
The problem with any 8 drop, is will be compared to the above 8's, plus other good ones. If your going to stall the game to 8, the effect HAS to be game winning, and the Dr. Fate simply does not. He's not worth getting to 8, so THAT is the problem.
