Seeing as how DC is 1/2 the VS game right now, I'm pretty sure they'll release a DC game. Maybe a bit later, but it will have to be released. The main issue is compatability and the legal crap.

I know that i will get this game the day it comes out. i hope they have a feature where you enter the card code and you have it in the game.

DC will have to come out. Remember back in 2003 before "Vs" came out, all they announced was "Marvel Trading Card Game".

Also at first Marvel TCG sucked as another version of Yu-Gi-Oh so after GenCon they completly retooled it to be what we know as Vs today.

There is a hope for both DC and a good version of the online game.

The PSP and PC are cross compatible but it seems the DS will be only DS Vs DS.

In many PC games they release expansion packs. Not sure about the PSP, but there is a high possibility that there will be a DC expansion pack.

Whatever I know I am getting the marvel one. I hate dc lots.

I wish I actually remember the cards I saw when I played the game. I spent a good chunk of time playing it at E3 this year. It was ok. I did enjoy the cheesy animations when "battles" would occur.

Other than that it was a very early rendition of the game so I dont thing it was up to it's full potential.

It was a lot of fun. But I think since I was playing a Demo it had me using Starter Decks.

I think a few in this (or another) thread played it and said it sucked as far as startegy and a number of other things. However on the Tech Upgrade podcast Ben Seck said it was only a demo/prototype version.

AI for a TCG has got to be one of the hardest things to program... ever. Especially given the amount of cards and decks and combos. Combine that with the possible "counters" that might be available in a given situation.

The game really HAS to be online to be any good, imo. I wouldn't ever consider buying a non-online TCG video game.

Yeah, I agree. I was just pointing out it may be much (not just a little) better than the demo.

What will be cool is if you can play against the AI and win cards to use in any game like the press release seems to indicate.

I got the August issue of Scrye last night. There's a section they have for video games news and this game was it in. The ad says that the game will contain all the cards printed so far. It didn't say all Marvel cards, just all cards. It did call it a Marvel game, so I think there is still a good change that it will not include DC, but it does suggest that it will have all the Marvel cards through X-men. I can post the entire text tonight.

I just hope that DC and Marvel can mix... or at least play eachother...
