i am not new to the game but new to realms, and in my experiance you just sell the card and then buy anything you are after, plus you are usually left with some money aswell so.......
Seriously, this card should not be an EA; it should be an alternate art card where Robin and his little stick take the hit for Vic Stone instead of vice versa. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is tired of this stereotypical BS of the black guy taking one for the team. When has the black guy in comics/fantasy/scifi NOT been the one who takes the hit so the little white kid doesn't get his cloak singed?
I am sure krazykilroy has more to say on this subject, but this card has always galled me and I challenge you to find me (in the thousands of VS cards) an equivilent image of a white guy doing what Stone is doing in that picture.
In reply to Curtis' question, I'd flog it on ebay mate. No point trading it, what could you possibly get in exchange of similar value? Especially if ya need the money, treat it as a windfall.
Well, a friend posted it to ebay for me, and it doesn't look like anyone has any interest in the card really. Is it because it is an unusual rare find?
I ended up getting one of these in a trade for a foil Beatdown a while ago. Where did you end up pulling this one anyway? I'm slightly curious as to where because the gentlemen I traded the beats to said he ended up getting multiples but wouldn't tell me where =/
If these ARE test-printings from Gallery Packs that got out into the public early, I think you should be aware that they may drastically lower in value as soon as Gallery Packs become widely available. I wouldn't trade too highly to get one, even if you really want one, until we find out exactly what will be in the Gallery Packs.
Multiple EA Heroic Sacrifices? This is the only one I've ever seen, or even heard of. Mine came from out here in California.
Where was yours from?
That's what I'm trying to decipher (where mine came from). The guy was eager to trade it for the Savage Beats that I had and thusly I didn't doubt that he had more than one.
Just looking at the card, you can tell it had to have been printed well after DOR was released. This card couldn't have been one of the oddballs from DOR packs, because it has the new ugly DC Comics logo instead of the Bullet logo. That still doesn't mean it's one of the gallery pack cards, but that's where I'd wager a guess along with the new hobby league cards.
