Well, it was a hobby league card that was only available for 1 week; though that week each hobby league gave out 8 (4 to winner, 2 to 2nd, 1 to 3rd and 4th). Still, it's more rare than most hobby league cards... getting 4 for $2 is an awesome deal. It and the EA cover fire are deffinetly awesome though... though the art on the dodge is by far one of the coolest EAs I've seen. It doesn't show well on the scan, but the way they did the lighting with the foil looks really good.
I personally like the Nasty Suprise.
Sure, it's not the comic cover "Giant Sized Man Thing" but to have an Extended Man Thing is still pretty good ... best source of phallic EA humor since the Nightwing EA.
avengers assemble, acrododge, cover fire, and nasty surprise were the 4 hobby league EAs. avengers assemble wasnt alternate though, at least i dont think so, it looked the same to me but i dont have a normal avengers assemble so im not completly sure.
It seems UDE is sending Judge's Holiday Packages. I received the AcroDodge EA and 3 VS Deck tins(White with Vs logo, Red with VS logo and a JLA tin)in the mail today!
Level 2 VS Judge along with a few other ratings. They haven't sent out much of anything that I can recall since I got my old UDE Judge card. Plastic FTW.
As for the wallpaper, I have the original BMP for it on my system, though at a more pixeltastic 1280x1024 for my large LCD screen. PM me an e-mail address, and I can send either the unmodified wallpaper, or resize it to a specified size.
I got the three tins and EA Dodge the other day, if it's anything like the YGO mailings, it's based on experience up to April 2006, which is right before I got LV 2 and judged 3 PC's. So next year's should be the bomb.
It included the red, white and JLA deck boxes as well as an EA Alt Art Dodge. However it did not end there. Below those in the box was an Onslaught Playmat and an Extended art Detective Work. Below that was the Avengers and JLA sets of deck boxes, packs, and EA cards.
If the mailing I got from UDE for YGO was any inclination I sorta expect to recieve something similar to what Joe did. I ran a weekly hobby league for almost two years at the Shop in town here plus I've done misc. PCQ's and a 10K along the way. Not to mention you tack onto that the level 2 certification for Vs. System.
My judging for YGO was a good chunk of Star City Games premier events from Jan. 2004 to earlier this year and a level 2 certification in that. My YGO reward package was six boxes of product, an orange UDE playmat, UDE decktin, YGO poster, and UDE notebook.
