Short and sweet I think loseing the Marvel / DC would make the game lose flavor BUT if they add labals Like Transfomers VS Decepticons , Preditor VSAlian , GI-JOE VSCobra ,Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles VS Shreder . Now after Each EC set they should do a box set .

I for one think of the game as VS SYSTEM not that Marvel/DC TCG. VS SYSTEM can encompass all sorts of things.

TNMT, Transformers, tick (he he 3 ts), would all be okay licenses to pick up.
But I think tapping into anime properties for a couple of sets, would both keep their value in the system, as well as grab up a couple new players and tap into the 'fad' portion of it for a few quick bucks to keep the System aloft.

Next big anime: I'm looking at you Bleach.

I hope Marvel/DC continues. As a casual player and BIG comic book fan, these two licenses float my boat. But I'd continue on with indie comics. It might lose a little for me...or it might turn me into a bigger indie comics fan. If it got too cartoony, I might get out. Tranformers are OK, maybe GI Joe. But I ain't playin' He-Man!! (Well, ok, maybe once...But seriously, I walk at Care Bears)
