Okay, first of all, this one is appropriate because YARR!! (note the spelling/punctuation) was born in reference to Stu. What happened is he hijacked a thread, someone asked for it back, and I said that a pirate never gives back what was properly hijacked.

Um...aside from the fact that three quarters of the thread's posts are YOURS (-grin-) I must admit that I'm at least partially responsible for this one...

And if you guys are astounded at the huge number of posts that stu makes, don't be. It's actually only about 3,000 posts, but he always seems to think of an addendum to his post abuot 10 seconds later, and rather than edit, just posts again.

Sometimes three times in a row.

Or four.

And before the time limit between posts (or if you're a mod and suffer no such limits) it was easier to do and happened most often!

Thanks, everyone. It has indeed been a long strange trip. The most bizarre part is the fact that I lobbied for years to keep the post counts OFF this website. I begged, I threatened, I cried... and it didn't work in the long run. When the update came, it was too late.

If I were given the power to change one thing on these forums, I would hide the post counts.

Besides that, this place is a gas. I look forward to a long and boisterous future here. I'm glad you all are a part of it.
