The obvious question is why the hell akugyaku hasn't bathed in the glow of Promethea's magick cootchie to take his mind off it. Seriously, just get the second TPB. I'll buy it off you if you don't like it.

It's amazing, you really should check it out. Like I said before, it's in the Promethea #2 trade. That collects issues #7-12 and is the best part of the series in my opinion. It works seperately from the rest of the run fairly well, and #12 is the closest thing to a real acid trip that comics has ever seen. Don't eat the paper.

i managed to find a 'virtual' copy. It really was a good issue, and now i want to read the rest of the series and maybe a tantric guidebook, if you know what i mean :cool:

No, im going to a Chapters or a Barns and Nobles and look for a 'tantric guidebook'.

So techically im doing it the old fashioned way.

Doom Patrol, We3, JLA, Flex Mentallo, The Invisibles, Animal Man, and All-Star Superman. Morrison has just as many modern classics under his belt as Moore does.

Oh, and regarding essential collections by author: bad idea. Outside of maybe Moore, most comics creators just don't have the name recognition to sell gaming product in any great amount. Stick with brands.

Grant Morrison has written one issue of the Authority. You may instead be thinking of Warren Ellis or Mark Millar.

Personally I'm a big fan of John Byrne, his She-Hulk stuff is awesome, as well as his powered-down superman. The man is a genius.

I would buy that one in a heartbeat, gobs of green flesh FTW. I must, however, demand one thing. You need to pick another author of his stature and time period, for him to be paired with. Who would be the adversary in the Byrne Battle Essential Collection?
