I missed my goals this year for many reasons, mostly due to simply deciding to focus on another path and I'm glad I did it most of the way.
I managed to become co-owner of a game store for about 5-6 months, and had a business idiot instead of a business partner. I learned not to do that again.
I plan this year to see the following accomplished:
1) Get full custody of my son. Nothing is more important than that.
2) Open and maintain my own store. This will fund my number one goal.
3) Establish a financial legacy that secures the future for myself and my family. Playing on the pro circuit will not accomplish this goal.
4) Get my damn driver's licence reinstated. And learn to save my reciepts..trust me, the two are directly related.
5) Eat less candy and drink less soda in order to eat more fruits and drink more water.
6) Show more respect and compassion to my fellow man and woman on a daily basis.
7) Learn more about the Bible and it's actual translations, not just the modernly accepted translations.
8) Learn and teach more games, to help make my store a raging success!!!
1. To not go to jail this year.
2. To play a premiere VS event (10K, PC) since I haven't been to anything in a while. Not due to play skill but laziness.
3. To increase my hustle x2.
4. To continue being true to myself no matter how much it offends everyone else... and it will.
My new year resolution is to write a tournament report for each event I attend.
Is this like me saying "lose weight" or "work out more"? Things I should do... but don't seem to get done.
My VS/VSRealms resolutions:
1. Get local VS attendance higher both at Premiere Events and hobby store events
2. Get VS 2-headed format sanctioned
3. Explore more formats to get more players involved
4. MMA match with Dalton (just kidding... he'd probably own me)
5. More posts, less hate (or is that the other way around?)
