Absolute Dominance
Injustice Gang
Black Cat + Sage to stall plot twists
Hidden Ronan to lock the resource row
Bad Press
I'm sorry if the other netdecks can't compete against this deck, but maybe it's time people started thinking outside the box instead of waiting for the Hagers of the world to tell them what deck to play.
CC
-absolute dominance is irrelivent when your using nega bomb every turn.
-Remind me what injustice gang is doing again? especially when i deadshot lex on 3
-if you wanna run x4 black can and lose vs every other deck i wish you luck. Also, ivy just blatantly runs over black cat
-sage actually does nothing if you lose the die roll and get stuck with the even initiative, then you just get hit with deadshot and cry
-ronan actually does nothing
-again, have fun dilutting your deck with x4 bad press and losing to every other deck in the format.
Dominance stops her recursion as she would be removed from the game. I've always seen her get KO'd to get her into the graveyard to be recurred.
Sage, Black Cat, and Bad Press increase the threshold cost of the Secret 6 Victorious win condition.
Ronan locks the opponents resource row from said win condition.
Injustice Gangs whole deal is getting cards into you hand.
And if they draw out their deck, just drop 3 drop dagger and burn them for lethal damage.
I hear Mephisto likes a big graveyard, and Lex Luthor does a pretty decent job of locking out big hands too.
I didn't know the new Silver Age rotated the older sets out, so I apologize for not reading the Sydney portion of the post. I just get aggravated whenever I see people complaining that their deck can't beat the Top Tier 1 deck of the moment.
If it's THAT BAD we can only assume UDE will act accordingly.
Absolute Dominance doesn't work. While Mephisto would end up splashed in a lot of decks, it's a sad state when you HAVE to... truth be told, Frankie Raye decks would probably benefit the most from Meph, since they would be guaranteed to have the tools.
Sage etc aren't good vs real decks, the S6V deck was more of a "fun deck".
She's tough, the decks I've seen with her good. If people truly have decks that can deck on 4 and 5 and actually want to cause a banning of Frankie, then post them. It certainly worked for the last PC, and if you're getting her banned then it doesn't hurt. I would post one if I had a good realistic one, as it is I can just post a Lost In Space deck that is still silly without Dr. Light.

- absolute dominance says "Ongoing: Whenever a character with cost 2 or less becomes stunned, remove it from the game."; you sir, don't know what you're talk about, I will now repeat myself and say absolute dominance actually does nothing, especially in combination with your own black cat.
-wtf, "SECRET SIX VICTORIOUS WIN CONDITION?!!!" your joking, right? You took that fun deck chdb took seriously? thats not the deck, that deck isn't even competative. I-T W-A-S D-E-S-I-G-N-E-D F-O-R C-A-S-U-A-L P-L-A-Y. I've already made my arguements against black cat, sage, and ronan and nullified your arguement for them.
-I'm STILL not getting the injustice gang referance, all injustice gang does is lose to everything in the format.
-drawing out your deck does not mean you have a huge hand, it means you've cycled through your deck. Your hand isn't even that big, I can't beleive you actually expected someone to have 50 cards in their hand; 3 drop dagger has no text half the time anyway (nega-bomb, remember?).
- I already mentioned that I can just deadshot lex
-You'll have lost before you get a chance to play mephisto.
I just think it would be cool to see someone drop Dagger on three, use Nice Try to stop Deadshot, activate her and burn, then find a way to reready her and burn FTW.
Recall PCLA where humphreys announced he had no intention of banning stuff for Golden because it was too close to the PC? Recall the event being fun and exciting and fair rather than coinflips between degenerate combo decks?
The only reason that environment happened was because the player base reacted faster than UDE does. If the player base doesn't speak their mind on this UDE will react AFTER PC Sydney. I know the frankie raye plays a large factor regarding whether people will go and I'd like to see Sydney be a successful fun event. This game needs it.
Abdom doesn't do anything, more often than not frankie is ko'd to ivy meaning she won't get stunned meaning she won't get removed from play (unless I'm reading the card improperly). Moreover, if you're playing multiple copies of abdom, chances are you will lose to pretty much everything else. Finally if running a single copy there is the need to draw into it or search it and off the top of my head aside from scandal, whatelse in silver searches on-going pts?
Now I can see for your suggestions you are refering to the SSV deck chdb posted which is never going to see play until another low cost SS character is released due to the lack of consistancy. This was just an example of how you can take an ordinary concept and warp it to play it the way it was not meant to be played by the inclusion of Frankie, which leads back to Tim's main arguement of degeneration.
You can easily beat the IG handfill deck by using frankie's alternate cost to dump cards and not use her card drawing ability. Yes it seems to waste cards but a fated character can easily deal with the IG deck as their pumps rely on the opponents hand. Now that is neither here nor there but just a basic way to counter the deck.
As mentioned before Deadshot (who will almost always be out by 3) nukes Sage and Lex with relative ease so there is no point into further discussing that matter.
Again the point being stressed by Tim is that in silver, with the use of Frankie Raye, the creation of degerate decks, which almost entirely make the combat phase neglegible, is unhealthy for the current silver meta....
I'd actually like to see Frankie get the axe in Silver. To be honest she outclasses almost every 1 drop simply because she's a powerful cycling engine and can also be played at almost any point in a game. With some sort of KO trick like Dr. Doom 3 (I heard playing a 1 drop that can be played on turn 3 with Doomfor the free plot twist is good), Frankie's hardly a liability.
Of course this is just me talking about fair decks here. I have no idea what Tim and co have come up with other than playing Nenoras and wannabe 16-cost plot twists as well.

RELAX, can't you be like EvilDave and have a normal conversation. I responded to the posted decklist, because the first post said they couldn't post the true decklist because of team secrets, etc. You're right, Dominance wouldn't work. Shame on me for being optimistic, while you stand there and tell me how great a deck you probably had NOTHING to do with creating is. It's the whole "person who plays poker" vs a "poker player" argument. That's why I give people like Hager so much props...they actually innovate, while other people take their creations and then post how great they are with said deck.
If this deck is so degenerate, then:
1. UDE knows about it and it will be gone before Sydney
2. The same creative minds that created it will find a way to tech against it.
3. Most of the major teams will be running a variation of it, which increases the chances of running into it round after round. So in theory you COULD dilute your deck to just beat it and hope to play against it round after round. Risky strategy, but it could happen (Number 1 Dream)

There's very, very limited tech against it, and said tech is either draw-dependent or teamstamped (Null Time Zone and Conclave, there you go).
And remember, until players made it clear that they didn't like the environment going into PCLA, UDE was perfectly willing to allow multiple broken combo decks at the PC. That's what this thread is about: it's players saying "look, this card breaks the game. Please get rid of it so we can have fun."

Does anyone play for fun at all anymore?
Yes. Hence this. I'd like to have FUN playing competitive cards, rather than coinflipping the broken-deck matchup.
