about 85-90% of the time... i have at least 3 avengers in my resource row... so having a + 3 attack is pretty good i think... especially on the defense... i don't mind putting down a non reservist avenger because i have 5 search cards that can get me almost anything... i do see your point however... i could take out the two what are friends for and add in a couple more reservists...

i know that carol danvers is good but i thought that having iron man is better because he gives everyone adjacent +1/+1. think about quicksilver being a 5/6 instead of a 4/5... or natasha at 4/3 instead of 3/2...

I run submariner in there because he's a leader and a reservist... his ability is better than you think... i've pulled this scenario several times... a character adjacent is defending... i use avengers mansion... stun a character back... i replace the avengers mansion... and when submariner or whoever gets attacked... i use avengers mansion from the possible replaced resource or an already put avengers mansion from my resource row...

if i am playing odd initiative, i play monica rambeau because she lets your adjacent team attackers... attack twice! i think thats a better 5 drop with legendary battles than having hawkeye. i have my six drop captain america who makes it so that my adjacent characters won't get stunned while attacking...

Monica Rambeau with Carol Danvers on your own initiative on 5 is a game winner.

avengers are still awesome. if i could only play one team then it would be the avengers.
