It was quite ironic... Billy who is known for stall... specifically SpiderFriends stall ala Solitaire, plays an Aggro deck against a SpiderStall deck... and wins.

By the way... the reason why I did this coverage is because although UDE was here for a while... they didn't do Metagame coverage other than taking some pictures and listen to me complain about what UDE should do with VS OP. I guess it's kind of hard to do tournament reporting when you arrive after round 3 and leave before round 6.

I want to thank everyone for coming... half were PCQ regulars who are very loyal to VS and the other half were my local players who have supported the store for the last 3 years.

1st: City Champs Playmat, 16 boosters, 4x EA Thanos
2nd: 10 boosters, 3x EA Beast, Onslaught Playmat
3rd-4th: 6 boosters, 3x EA Beast, Deckbox
5th-8th: 3 boosters, EA Punisher, Deckbox
9-17: 2 boosters

Plus I gave out an extra booster of Legion to everyone, 2 random EAs and another booster of MK to 9-17.

Wow how much was entry? I might need to get mike bean to take me to the next one, thats some good prizing.

Exhausting... 50 team exhausting... multi-team exhausting... Erick, you're such a dork, lol. It's actually an energy Inhumans/Morlocks/X-Men/Heralds of Galactus stall/control deck with Captain Marvel as the win condition (got the alternate win twice in the tournament!). Congrats to Billy for showing that aggro-checkmate(!) works. Also, the many Spider-Friends control decks there proved that that archetype could be the new Doom-control in SA... oh yeah, Spider-Man-7 and Sentry are busted when used together... all in all a great tournament, it had a PCQ feel to it with time clocks used, deckchecks, etc.

Deck checks, of all things, make your pants happy?
