new brotherhood, and squadron will be prevlent, I would say Faces of Evil but man, no Hard sound construct.
Underworld Society with Club dead + dr sivana and all those keep stunned guys from koing effects, Never lose a drop, plus with you can recover the extra stunned guys you can put into play. Something to think about. Though both teams loose their tutors :(
Anyone thought about Future Foes, they still have some strong guys and twisits and still have a tutor as well, plus if squadron No hand is played, thats guarenteed effects to happen with Future Foes heh.
Only problem with the whole Squad Vs. Future Foes match-up is this Birch. Future Foes doesn't really start to get nasty with their effects until Turn 5...By then Squad wins and applauds you for emptying their hand so Nuke becomes insanly big;)...My only final decision about my deck is whether to go Fated or not.
What you think man,
Kj
there are 5 decks that come to mind that should do relatively well in this format as they don't lose too much as far as rares. in no particular order:
squad--only loses other-earth
Squad is good. You would do well to run Fate Squad instead of the more rare-intensive traditional version. Checkmate hoses you with Swamp, though.

This is a surprisingly good choice for this format, being a deck that can beat the best deck (checkmate/x). Of course, the loss of Mansion is HUGE.

Amelia is gone and the good TNB version with reservists just isn't good enough without her.

Without Insignificant Threat and Flame Trap, this deck is not nearly as good as before. Then again, the absence of resource row hate may be good for this deck. In the end, the loss of Straight to the Grave and Mobilize kill this deck.

Without Amelia, this is just a bad curve deck.

Without Great Refuge, Franklin is harder to hit. The deck dies without him. Also, expect a lot of concealed hate intended for Ahmed to smash this deck to pieces.

Only very slightly less effective than the version with rares in it.
Without Peer Pressure and Check & Mate, this could work. It seems like a pretty good deck. If it doesn't die to Fate-based rush on turn five and has the even initiatives, it should win. Not bad at all. I could totally see this winning it all.

All ways Fate it up.... Nuke gets ######## 17/15 and if you use Panaca Potion on him. Good times Good times.
i have to say i'm surprised i'm not seeing more poeple take advantage of the ahmed+hellboy synergy in a bprd/checkmate hybrid.
also, watch out for Roy harper abuse... yeah you all remember the titans dont ya? Gotham knights can wreck face with their utility belt's negating all, and personally i'm surprised i haven't heard about villians U, Injustice gang, and their synergistic team-ups. I have a few pieces of great tech i'll keep to myself, but i dont think fate abuse is the way to go. We'll see if i'm proved wrong soon enough.

It seems cool, but I personally prefer Lazarus Pit, especially since there isn't any real direct-KO in th format.

No Terra. No Garth. No Argus. No Deck.

They would need a team-up to offset their bad characters.

VU loses Spire. What else is it good for? IG is... well... still really bad. It was bad when it had Reign, Power Siphon, etc and it's still bad now. The Moloids deck would be cool if Devil's Due didn't bite the bullet. Maybe you could pull it off with Infernal Minions.

To be honest, I really hope you're right. I think you're wrong, but I hope you're right.
Avengers reservest would be intresting. It would lose Avengers Mantion though...
They lose mansion, but they get a recovery card
Pym Laboratories- Uncommon
Activate >>> Target character you control can attack hidden characters this turn.
Activate, reveal any number of face-down resources you control >>> Recover target Avengers character you control if its cost is equal to the number of reservist cards you revealed this way. Use this power only during the recovery phase.

I would run the 3 drop OMAC in there to get the 2,2,3,4,omac 5 chain on 5, otherwise, this is what i was thinking too
