i was there last month. not too many of those. all the sponsored parties are over. its mostly middle aged ex-pats there now. all the hotness is gettin ready to go back to college.

school doesn't start 'til mid June, there's still lots of time to go to the beach. i guess timing is everything! and there's a lot more places to go now besides Boracay, like Panglao in Bohol and Palawan.

June should be the time for Vs since its the start of the rainy season and the beach won't be any fun with all the rain.

*sigh* i miss walking around the city in shorts and sandals

Balut is really good. You might just want to drink it if its your first go though.

So I ate balut, and honestly it wasn't bad. Once you get passed the appearance of it it's just like a normal egg. :)

We are proud of our food. Very proud, as you can see from the previous posts. We love our pork, beef, chicken, fish, shellfish... yeah, you get the idea. daemyann should've already tried out the Max's Fried Chicken by now if he's working that close to Vmall, there's a branch just nearby. If daemyann isn't rotund yet, chances are, if he stays here a few months, he's going to add at least 10 pounds (approx. 5 kilos) by the time he leaves here. To think that we have a seperate menu for the drinking crowd...

Can't wait to meet daemyann in person though.

yes, the alcohol is so ridiculously expensive in the philippines. because you'd end up drinking a case of beer (and thats 24 bottles)
