Mine is a reference to me and a buddy in HS creating an asian gang when they were all the "rage" on the west coast (representing the Midwest!). It was my asian gang callsign. He was Black Dragon, what a nerd.
and to think that you used to have cred w/ me. Well, you're dead to me now!
Until we see each other at the next local event, of course. But then you will be only HALF not dead to me, for I will still be bitter. Until one of us makes a completely ridiculous remark or calls shenanigans and fetches the brooms.
ummm, yeah... mine is a noun that is easily slipped into half-assed come-backs. yourmama was a direct descendant of my old screen name yomama, but upon forgetting my password i decided that a change was needed, and that is where the "ur" comes from. and i've never been the same since...
I used to have a name that was "ImGodly" or "ImGod" something like that. It started out as a joke. Then one day it mysteriously vanished, so I got knocked into the other end of the spectrum, thus forth I was noobish. :knockedou

if your SN is your "asian gang call sign", then is you avatar your gang symbol? just curious...
As for mine, back in my MTG days, I wanted to go by Doppleganger, but the connotation was a bit too negative. So i went with Neuromorph, because I have the ability to change peoples minds, without them knowing (Something that is now known as Social Engineering).
I have Neuromorph in many threads, so dedided to go with Neuro2k5 to mark the year I started playing vs.
Been using HeroComplex as my screenname in various places for a while; it's a term from psychology, in the same way that people refer to a Messiah Complex. And based on what Wikipedia says, it's the compulsion to help others and make the world right. I read comic books growing up, and I like to think that I inherited some aspect of the old-fashioned superhero morality. The name captures that feeling of wanting to do right by the people around you, and probably a little bit of wanting to be a superhero growing up.
Great tiger, your avatar is also the number 7 is American Sign Language. Just FYI. :)
For Aurealis, is it from Robots of Dawn? I seem to remember the planet being called Aurealis, and the capital city being Eos, both mythological names for the dawn itself. (Edit: Nope, I'm thinking of Aurora.)
