Golden or Modern would be awesome. Golden is my favorite format, because you can have fun decks, like Stall n' stuff. In modern, I have my Kree/Inhumans deck to play with :) Silver, the only deck I have is Checkmate/Villians.
I believe Release Celebrations for WF are June 1-3.
So I Fizzle your moot.
Still not reading are we? Pppptttthhht!
Reading, who reads? Seriously...
I have people that tell me what threads are about and I randomly grace you with my responses :p

Agreed. Limited VS is a lot more fun that constructed. Constructed vs always feels like a job or a chore. Deckbuilding, then testing, then tweaking, then deconstructing, and starting over...blah! Limited, all I need is a pack of sleeves and a pen!
I mean, I have underlings to carry my stuff around, but limited events gives them a nice break
Thats why we should go back to the profesional TOs for the Elite Series (hold them with WOW or Yugio events)
That would sorta suck, because (on top of the fact the yugioh kids are unbearable) our Level Three, Two of our level twos, and at least one level one yugioh judges would rather play Vs than judge an event. (Myself Included)

Oh, Playtesting is the greatest fun you can have without taking your clothes off... and with the internet... YAY, NO PANTS PLAYTESTING!

Darius, you're a cool guy & all but I'm pretty certain that the ONLY person I would do any pantsless playtesting with is my wife....Or Selma Hayek. But that's about it.
These new events are a perfect oppurtunity for UDE to have the "pcq's" define the format of the upcoming PC, instead of the other way around. This is something that MANY people had an issue with during the run of the old pcq's. Why no just go with that?
I believe Release Celebrations for WF are June 1-3.
Wait, really? In the Jeff Donais "End of the PC article", he said this:
Our goal for 2007 is to replace Sneak Previews with Release Celebrations, starting with the World’s Finest set which releases on June 27th. The Release Celebrations will occur on the weekend of June 30th & July 1st.
Has the date changed? It would be nice to know these things.
Random Punks, : April 27 - May 20th.
Only commons and uncommons are legal, banned list applies
World’s Finest Release Celebration: July 2007
Vs. System Mega-Weekend., Columbus, Ohio:, July 6-8
$10,000 World’s Finest Team Sealed Deck Tournament
Amateur Championships
Side Events All Weekend
From the VsSystem.com front page.
So, May 21st forward would be the Spider-man event, then the last weekend of June/first weekend of July would be Release celebration with the 10K the next weekend ... making it very interesting for a sealed event, as people will have about 10 days or so with the set before the event.
I'd like to see Golden - cause we haven't had a chance for a 'real' Golden MTU event yet.
Well, if people truly test for that, they'll play a "draw your deck" combo. That's what I'll be playing until UDE gets that handled. I think they're just shoving Golden off to the wayside for right now. I, personally, would prefer a Modern Age format WITH World's Finest legal. If Modern Elite Series events take place, the decks for the PC will be much better. Along with the originality present in the Elite Series decks. Not just a bunch of netdecks.
