THANK YOU for acknowledging my comment from last episode about that Rouges scene also taking place in Flash. Mind you, in Countdown it is extended.
She Hulk was Awesome for me (Free, independant woman???).
I got to tell you, bringing up other bad stories, doesn't justify why characters are being written badly. Also the Illuminati was pretty cool on the pages of the New Avengers, but once the special came out most readers knew hell was about to break loose, and Hulk was already shot into space. However we've reached a point where it’s become; how would we ever be able to redeem Tony?
I very much agree about what was said about keeping characters (or getting them back to) where they ought to be.
The DC Universe is NOT full of Time Machines ... sigh. Rip Hunter so fine has the defining time machine. The Flashes have the Cosmic treadmill, and I believe the first Hal Jordan era GL rings also allowed for time travel (willpower and all). There was tons of time travel in Silver Age. I'll just cut it short and say its a little more limited in the modern age (though it may be used a bit more than Marvel).
Heroes draws viewers in from all over (so does Smallville), the difference is this show is FAR better (In fact, this is a whole better dimension). As far as Peter is concerned he couldn't focus enough to control to the blast and fly. I'm pretty sure they will go ahead and spell it out for viewers. Nathan had to be redeemed this seems to be the way to go about it.
SYNTHETIC RED KRYPTONITE ON SUPERMAN (From the Tower of Babble). Bruce Wayne, and Tony Stark, LOL.
Top 5 Villain Master Plans
1. Lex Luthor-President Luthor. DC may have dropped the ball on this, but I LOVED IT, "I can't stop/top Superman, so I'll just become President."
2.Mysterio goes after Daredevil (That was awesomely crazy. Love it or HATE it, it has had an amazing impact on Daredevil.
3. The Parasite poses as Lois Lane (written by Jeff Loeb). What a fantastic twist on this character. Again we had to go with a stretch (as he held on to a shape-shifting ability), but I thought quite cool.
4. Dr. Doom in UNTHINKABLE.
5. Despero, JLA Crisis on conscience. It was the hotest battle to come as the aftermath to Identity Crisis.
LOL Damn man. Leave off Walter a little bit. I agree Stretchy Jimmy is R E T A R- Er, not meaning to bypass filters, just, super emphasis on how stupid that is.
Oh, right, my point. But no need to respond so harshly. Besides you didn't even point out the most important thing... If it's Silver Age Superman, shouldn't he be even less likely to see a murderer and just... Send his best pal to interview him? Wouldn't he fly over and Super-Brain Wash Red Hood into turning himself in, not spilling any secrets and reforming his evil ways?
Then again, Superman used to be a total dick, too, so maybe he WOULD just send his best pal over there to potentially die.

I don't know, I might have been a little too harsh. But I was mostly responding to the last thread where Walter argued for no reason and it just ticked me off. Although, thanks for backing me up anyway. However, the reason I didn't mention "the most important thing", is because Walter didn't bring that up, he brought up Jimmy. Also, we still don't know who Superman and Jimmy are yet or where they come from or what farfetched reasoning they'll come up with yet.

That was only on the cover of comic books. Super-dickery did not take place on that level on the interior. wow, the filters are a bit loose on this sight.
I could kinda tell, BruceCastle, I also agree about the BotC#12 thread. Just think it's better to try and keep your cool. :) Always easier to win an arguement that way.
As for Superman covers, I always knew they probably weren't reflected exactly in the actual story. Those old style covers never were. lol
/sarcasm=Of course who doesn't like tentacle porn.../sarcasm
i think if we compared this to the whole sideshow MJ debacle, the HFH cover takes the gold in offensiveness. i just don't see how anyone could argue that this cover isn't inspired by Japanese hentai. well, i guess i could see some brave souls try to argue that point...joey q. is certainly trying.
Also, it's drawn by a woman, which completely negates it's blatant pornality.
really? you really believe that? that's a pretty sexist thing to say. are you saying that the artist, being a woman, speaks for all other women on this planet and therefore it is not offensive?
the artist may not think of it as degrading women, but that doesn't mean her readers (which may include women seeing as how the book is centered around some very strong female characters) would agree.
the fact that this appears to be intentional is what separates it from the MJ incident and makes it infinitely more offensive. isn't HFH an all ages book?
i really feel that Marvel needs to do the repsonsible thing and pull this cover and replace it with something more appropriate...like this!
I think TBZ is riled btw I agree with him it's clearly inspired by if not a plain copy of some sort of tentacle porn hentai type thing the odd thing is if this was japan there'd be no issue at all with this cover...of course I especially like the tentacle "drool" on BC's right breast not suggestive at all...the fact that this is supposed to be AA is even more offensive actually it's not just offensive to women it's offensive to my intelligence...
