Oh, and if you want a beat stick for the win in defenders/wild pack, my kill of choice lately has been 6 drop submariner. Back him up with everything you've got and swing for the fences. As if bounty hunt wasn't enough, I put in teleportation rings to help me hit Sables loyalty-esque clause incause I only have a wildpack on the field, and a few other good modern equips, and a few new baxters. Card drawing like a mofo. I've had my whole deck in my hand on 6. It's rediculious.

Hatter as a 1-drop. Fiddler was barely a member of the Secret Six, he should only be a 1 drop at best. And if Mad Hatter is going to be the 1-drop anyway that's fine.

However, Knockout and Harley Quinn [current 6th member as per their current issues of Birds of Prey] could be on the team. In general, as long as they keep the costs of most of the characters on the team high enough, it wouldn't break the AWC.

EDIT:

The thing with Alter Egos ... is that with only 1 Premiere event per month ... and if you have a City Championships, and you have Release Celebrations ... that pretty much leaves one OTHER event per 3 months [give or take]. However ... perhaps that is what they give out at the Release Celebrations? [The Alter Ego oversized cards]. And then the City Championships can be an Alter Ego format.

If they are going to start with the Legend sets to have the Alter Egos built in ... then getting them for both MTU and WF means you can get the "Modern Age" Alter Ego events up and running a bit earlier. Also, if they give them out as prizes, they have to re-release them through the point stores ... as the only prizes you basically 'need' to get to play them [as opposed to EA versions of existing cards].

Technically speaking: BPRD and Thule Society, Crisis, Deathstroke, Fearsome Five, Infinity Watch, Kang Council [exactly 20 characters], Negative Zone, Secret Six, Sentinels [still only 17 characters], Skrull, Speed Force, Wild Pack

I'm going to leave out the cards like Soul World and especially the Gems, because they have NOTHING to do with the team really [especially the gems].

Honorable Mentions - Monitor and 7-drop Deathstroke [although he's technically on VU, so he doesn't really count.

3 - Bastion ... he's the man, and he does fit as a mini team ;)

2 - Deadshot, Dead Aim [He was a key component to the Suicide + Manhunter Giant Fall of Oa deck, and he's a great way to use characters like Poison Ivy, etc]

I'm hard pressed to consider Sentinels a mini-team.
There are 31 total cards that are affiliated or team-stamped for Sentinels, and Sentinel cards have been printed in 6 different expansions. I'm going to have to give you the skunk-eye on your number 3.

You know, after the second example you guys went through I realized that we were supposed to come up with characters 1-6 and not just six characters. I hope my entry wasn't just canned cause i did 8-3l.....I thought it was pretty inventive, also transformers are the best.

Also I came up with a a pretty great Captain Planet/Planeteers set from one to six....much more inventive then transformers but I probably would have done transformers anyway.
