Notice SB has less art on it, as compared to the original. Not really liking the new look, but it is OK as long as the back remains the same.

They already have that mechanic it's called Replace...

as far as the location goes when i read i thought 6 drop terrax...but that's just me...i'll replace it, stun a character, and then you take 4.......


but as far as the frame goes and the changes they're making.....does anyone else get the since that we'll soon just be playing magic? i mean with the symbols with team names seems like color icons...the new "tap" activation symbols...i'm not sure i'm real excited about this new stuff....

You guys are awesome. I like the fact that the new look does give room for more art/text and makes cards look more "framed"; though I'm not big on the color schema (probably just a matter of getting used to it). I will agree that it is more condusive to other games, but I think that's good... we'd love to rob other games of their players :).

Still, next set looks exciting; if only it were DC.....

Everytime I go to the vs system article I just get a blank page, are we crashing the site with visits or is it just something on my end?

My guess is that, with the symbols/icons, they're trying to leverage the feel from the other big games, to make new players more comfortable. And anything that helps to get us more players is OK by me.

The activation symbol is handy. One less thing to remember between games.

The SB has less art vertically, but more space horizontally. I'm interested to see if they just zoomed in differently to fill up the space. To my eyes, it certainly LOOKS like there is more art on the card, but we won't know for sure until there are actual measurements out there.
