One thing that can be done is go to the VSEdit directory under program files under C. Go into the cache folder. That is where the pictures need to be, using the format of XXX-NNN.jpg, where XXX is the set code, like MVL, and NNN is the number of the image. So for example, Archangel would be MVL-001.jpg - so you could simply take the 70822001.jpg image from OCTGN release and rename it and put it there (leaving it where it is in OCTGN as well, of course.) Repeat this for each image, and you will have them all.
'Course it would be easier for VSRealms to put it up for all of us, wink wink...
EDIT: when you get a chance, could you e-mail me the source ([email protected]); just curious to see how ridiculous the code is and maybe take a look for its random number generator code for Hatter (if i can find it)
One other note - two people has asked for, and gotten, the source codebase for this project. I *implore* anyone that gets their hands on the codebase to work with me and through me while I am lead project manager on VS Edit, so that we do not suffer multiple competing versions of the main program.
If someone else would rather that I not be the lead on this, and they want to take over, that's something I am open to discussing, but it is IMPERATIVE that we only have one version of the program managed ultimately by one person, so that things to do not get chaotic and fall apart.
I am happy to remain the lead on this, let me know if anyone has issues with that.
And of course, while I am lead, anyone who gets the codebase and has suggestions, *please* send those to me at my email [email protected] so that I can evaluate and integrate all potential reworkings. This way we won't have each of us individually releasing de-synchronized products.
Speaking for myself, I'm not trying in any way to take over and probably won't make any changes unless you ask for them, but if I do, they'll be sent to you; I've been on my share of projects where everyone had their own version and combining them was a mess; I have no desire to cause another such problem. Just curious to see what the code looks like; always fun to learn a new programming language.
Not so important, but if you want to use filter on which set you want to see, there is no option to see Marvel Legents. Just mentioning...
Thanks again!!!!!
Really? On my installation of the same code I click on Sets, then I can click on "Marvel | Marvel Legends" at the bottom of the list, and see all the cards from that set.
Can anyone confirm this issue, to make sure its an issue with the code?
my mvl images wont load, i think its cause they are missing from the cache folder? I dont know, my friend had the same problem. you said i can download the new octgn and just rename the pictures?
