I got sort of shafted by DC by what I believe is a lack of range and usability that some cards have. In marvel each team had a character or two that the had a lot of the special support. In DC the support was great but so spread out mostly in part to the fact that the justice league is the best of the best. Marvel should continue this legends run and move into the avengers and DC should try and tone down on how many characters have special plot twists.
What is wrong with T-Jet? Why are they going so low? That card is great!
I fixed this for you.

This is the problem with it, imho. Unless you are playing an equipment based deck, you are s.o.l. If teaming up MK & TT, it could be good... but in my opinion, just not up to snuff.
And Kenpachi-sama hit it right on the head. Unfortunately, MvL was a better set for constructed if you have the cards. DcL is an amazing sealed/draft set. If they could find a balance between both, I would stay with Vs until the end.
Doom, from now on you're Daidoji Doom to me... partly because of your preference, but more because I want to burn Shiro Daidoji to the ground and snap Uji's neck with my bare hands. See also: http://www.l5rsearch.com/images/card...ofthecrane.jpg
On Topic: How does this happen? Do different teams work on the Marvel and DC sets? Or is it just coincidence that the two lines are so different?
This implies that you aren't staying with Vs until the end. Comments?
Money is more important than playing the game that I love, therefore, I am planning on selling out.

Do I sense a touch of anger in your voice? Uji-sama was the greatest general that the Crane could have ever hoped for. The only reason that Kuwanan "won" the civil war is due to Uji-sama not wanting to destroy the clan further. And jealousy over my clan's fortunes will only get you what you deserve.... nothing.

I believe that this is true. But I don't think that they actually speak to each other while designing cards. ;)
MVL has some more powerful cards in their own right and better legends.
DC Legends is the more well-designed set from the veteran player's standpoint, however. MUCH better for limited, and MUCH more varied effects. I appreciate what MVL tried to do, but it's boring.
Off Topic:The Flowers, The Snow Read it Doom. Read it and feel joy the way I felt anguish. <3 Hiruma Aya.
On Topic: One thing I've credited Vs. on is their ability to make cards that fit the Story. We've all read comics where someone just snapped and gave a fairly Savage Beatdown to someone they otherwise wouldn't ever be able to compete with. We've seen Batarangs. We've seen Spiderman have to Shake It Off because he didn't have the time to be injured. There was evil afoot. Now you get into DCL and it's a lot more... blended. The JLA is an amalgamation of the greatest heroes of the DC Universe. Thusly, I feel JLA versions of guys like Batman and Superman should retain the same themes, only with a team minded aspect. I liked the Ally theme from the DJL set. It made sense. They all lent their power to the betterment of the team. It had flavor and I enjoyed it.
MVL seemed to focus on the Story Aspect. DCL seemed to work on mechanics. Given the choice between flavor and mechanics, I tend to enjoy flavor more. Hence, my preference of MVL over DCL. I love DCL because it's DC, but on paper I like MVL better because it retained the flavor I like about Vs. DC Expansions, for the most part, have seemed very mechanically inclined in DCL and DWF. Batman is PT negation/card draw. So... he negated plot twists and draws cards. Cool. But there's more to bruce wayne than CSI: Gotham and Wayne Tech's coffers. I want a Sinestro Corps expansion where the Green lantern corps begins to specialize in toolbox tek. It's got flavor. But what if I got it? After the last few expansions, I'm afraid they'd be all search tek, and have no cards related to the reforming of the Corps, nothing about Kyle's new life as Ion. it would be cold, hard mechanics given a name because the characters have a vague relation to the mechanic.
I think the DC team needs to work harder on making the mechanics reflect the story, not the seeming attempt to relate a story to the mechanics.
Hopefully we'll see more cards in the future that allow cards to be more universal but get better when used on a specific legend.
Imagine, for example, Flying Kick saying " Target Character gets flight and +3 ATK while attacking this turn. If the Targeted character's name is Batman he cannot be stunned while attacking this turn."
Something along those lines in terms of functionality. Think dual affiliated but for plot twists. It would allow more options for legendary legacy as well as not cut in to the generic options of future sets as well.

I agree, and that's why I like a card like Soaring to New Heights so much.
That is a much better example, though it gives it's bonus to anybody, not just Supes if you control Supes. Then again, that's good enough Legendary effect any way I suppose, right?
I agree. And now to the off topic portion of my post:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I am amazed that you found anguish in this. That was as well orchestrated a plan as that of the Scorpion. Are you worried that maybe the Crane can be cruel when dealing with those less fortunate? Don't worry, your clan shall not fall as far as before.
