I'll be honest, Twanbon. You could easily sell that card for $300-$500. I don't think anyone up here is going to offer enough cards to satisfy the value of such a card.
Your major wants + 4 Mobilize don't even come close to it. Hell, probably all of your wants combined don't come close to the EA Beatdown. Maybe I'm exaggerating but, that's just the way I see it.
later,
CD
Actually your your suggested retail price is grossly over estimated, the more realistic price is between 100.00 and 200.00 ( see links below)
The reason no one is offering what he wants for it is simple , you see everyone on here has at least one set of beatdowns but not everyone has the cards on his list to trade out, the E.A. beatdown is more of a novelty no one wants to give playable high demand rares for a novelty item that will most likely sit in a binder and impress the locals
Yes but, both of those had one bid. One bid = $100. The other = $180.
Besides. Ebay?
Please.
A friend of mine sold his EA Beatdown for $550. If I had $550 I would've bought it.
Look at it this way, willard. If you bid on that EA Beatdown, wouldn't the person who won that EA just bump up the price some more? He had no competition.
In the trade forums, there is competition for such a card.

well that is more my pint they only had one bid simply because most everyone who wants that card has one, and as for your friend who sold it for 550. when did he sell it ? at one time they where 800- 1000. but those days are long gone.
no matter how you feel about ebay it is the best and only place to buy and sell items to the masses, I would bet that he would not get much more than what the others went for.
I dont know if you have noticed but everyone on here is pretty much offering him about the same things , and no more than 200.00 worth of cards , he has competition here but none of them want to give up say,... 4 mobilizes ( about 120.00 ) for a card you say is worth $500,( if that was the case I would gladly give these cards up for it) but lets do the real math which is what would any player rather have a set of a mandatory card in almost every playable deck or a single card that will be displayed in a binder for everyone who sees it and says "cool" and move on because they know you wont trade it. its a novelty , so what would you pay for a novelty, i dont see you offering him his entire list which is grossly unde 500.00
I'm not offering anything because I don't have any of his wants. ;)
Besides, even if I offered all of his Major wants (4 Daredevil, 4 Silver Surfer, etc.), he wouldn't take it.
STTG's, Mobilizes, and even Black Manta are harder to get than the MEX cards. That's why I know I'll have to do his Major wants + high end cards like Mobilize to even come close to such a card.
To me, and this is my personal opinion, the reason why EA Beatdown is a lot less is because UDE gave it away a the Mega-Weekend. No offense but, how idiotic is that?
The one EA that is raised above all others, that you can only recieve if you win a PC was handed out at a Mega-Weekend. It's like when they did Bastion for Random Punks.
A scholarship EA given out at Random Punks.
Tsk tsk.
And to be honest, if I had 5 EA Beatdowns (1 for the collection), I would use the other 4 in decks. So, when I slap it down in EA form everyone is gonna be like "holy hell."

Actually, there are harder to get E.A. cards than beatdown, and you could get them in printing error boxes.
Now you are right about one thing they gave one, and only one out @ each megaweekend I dont think that should drop the price that much ( I believe you used a bad refference with the bastion thing ) its not like there are 200 megaweekends .
The price has dropped because of demand ,less persons want the card because the hardcores have one, the softcores wont pay for it so at this time it is almost worthless as you said, if you had 5 you would run them in a deck, well what would you do with one?? and more importantly what would you give up for one??
lLets put it this way if you had every card on his list but those were your only copies would you give them all up for the E.A. beats??? I know I would not it would destroy like 6 decks I have.
the question wasnt do you have them, it was if you did would you give them all up for the beatdown?
as for your question, yes i think right now your odds are much greater pulling one form a print error than a p.c. since there are no longer any p.c. tourneys at best you can get one from a megaweekend and most personns there who win them are looking to sell them anyways.
oh and there are more than just one p.c. champ there are quite a few but you do also realize there are many many more beatdowns out there than p.c. champs

To be fair, a trade that I would consider would look like the following:
4x Riddler
1-2x Surfer
1-2x Daredevil
1-2x Mobilize
1-2x SttG
3-4 Random other wants from my list
If you wanted to put a dollar value on it, I'd value it at around $150-$200 (depending on if for cash or trade)
What are you valuing Call in a Favor at? Prices I see for that are slightly higher than Mobilize due to scarcity
Call in a Favor i value at about $20-25... that one is hard to price because hardly anyone is trading them, but I'm not entirely sure how desirable they really are. Its effect is obviously powerful for you, but for your opponent too... it could either be very popular and fetch the $40-50 that mobilize saw at its peak, or it could be a dud whose drawback is too great, and never reach above $10... so I put it in the middle in its untested state.
