I (Connor Phoenix) went 7-1 in the rounds ending up in first place with nice galactus goodies, thanks steve btw :)
the one round I lost was against felix who was playing a marvel knights KO deck. I then won my top 8 match and top 4 2-0 going into the final playing felix again. My good guys weren't enough to take him down tho and he won 2-1, by this time it was about 10pm so almost everyone had left.
was an amazing tournament and was well happy to come 2nd and go home with a very large hulk trophy and lots of galactus stuff.

we turned up just in time for the tournament tho which kinda sucked because we didn't get a chance to meet many of the people there or anything unless we were playing against them.
and also I was wondering now that I have a place for the world champs do I have to go to this upcoming one or just one in the future?

Top 8 Meta breakdown please?

Gotta say, the JLA/JLI were teams I didn't even expect to see, let alone do so well, so much kudos to yourself Connor. Even if you beat me up with them in the first round. ;)

of what I saw

1st-felix using marvel knight legends ko deck
2nd-Connor Phoenix (me) using good guys
3rd-Josh Ralls using avengers reservist
4th- can't remember now >_<
5-8th had Josh lockyear with a kree someone else with a good guys and someone with a faces of evil.

two players got into the top 8 but had to leave before it started and give up their place
they were playing brave and the bold, and secret society gorilla deck.


and thanks Alec was really fun playing everyone, I was considering playing the Kree deck Josh Lockyear took but it was his so I had to take a deck of my own and I just realised when looking through good guys that it was pretty much already in byos format.

Interestingly, the MKKO deck did not revolve around Punisher if I remember rightly.

the other T8 deck was Family of Four, piloted by Dave "bungo underhill" Pyrah. I hope to have a feature match between him and Felix up some time today/tomorrow.

There were some souless individuals running Ahmed, but not too many. :p

my friend michael masters was playing him but ended up about 5-3 I think.

they lookd awesome but as I had no bad and I had the galactus stuff steve gave me the trophy deckmat tshirt and cards and stuff getting on the train was difficult as the trophy was quite heavy :P
but as I don't have a camera I can't take a pic >_<
