Tell you what, if you reimburse Gdaysheila the money she'll lose by not being able to be the photographer for the wedding she's working on that weekend (thus necessitating my being home on Dad Duty), while at the same time organising and paying for an alternate photographer so that we don't get our arses sued off for breach of contract, then we can go to Worlds. :grin:

You're most welcome. I've found that you're much more pleasant when you're miserable (the time between beatings shrinks as your overall mood improves), so I'm just doing my part to make the world a better place.

Same problem for me. As the weather gets warmer, Gdaysheila gets busier. With people booking their nuptials up to two years in advance, unless I'm directly consulted as to the schedule for major VS events prior to booking them, my chances of attending is really a crapshoot.

Over the next few months there are times when I have to schedule time off work to be on Dad Duty because she has weddings on Fridays, Saturdays AND Sundays for multiple weeks. Months like this, however, make up for those months where potential clients just huddles around their furnaces for warmth. Family solvency = more play money for Gday to buy boxes of cards.

Now, if UDE decided to hold an event in the middle of November in Toronto, I'd be all over it ;)
