If you are just running Hobby League and it doesn't matter that results get uploaded to UDE... you can just run it by hand, pairing the players with like records at the end of each round against each other until you get an undefeated player or a top X number of players for a playoff.
Yeah, just make sure it's as random as possible, pairing people with the same records by rolling dice or using some other random way for pairing. Good luck with the league. I think you will find it is a very rewarding experience.
Yeah I read up on it a little. You have to have internet access.
You only need internet access to upload results. You can run your unsanctioned tournaments with the program without the internet. Also, if you are going to be sanctioned events, you can run the tournament without the internet access and just hook up to the internet later and upload them then.
So, in a nutshell you can use Mantis without the internet access.
Guys, if you post the dates of your tournaments (City Champs and the like) I will do my best to bring down 2-4 of our Bloomington players at least every couple of months. It's not that far for us, and I will try to work with you so that as many of your players can make it up for ours stuff....

We have talked about trying to make it to your tournaments too. You have them on saturdays don't you?
We do indeed have them on Saturdays, in an attempt to make it easier for out-of-towners to make it here.
The next one will be on 9-20-08. We generally start at 1pm so that people have time to grab food before we start. I'll be posting this up in the local forum as well.
*edit: maybe I should have just said "September"...

Keep me posted on this tourney date. As I mentioned before I'm only a couple hours west in Henderson, KY and if I can convince my wife to go spend the day shopping (with my money) I might be able to throw down some cardboard with you guys.
I've recently gotten 2 boxes of MUN and some Legends commons/uncommons and have been itching to try out some new decks.
