So let me get this straight, because I really don't understand. You support being a douche, as long as your being a douche to another douche?
Whatever RocketDouche!!!
I support Gangsta's in whatever endevor's they might encounter. Even if that means ripp'n a guy with a name that includes Gurl in it, or flame'n some newb for lack of respect.

I'm glad he wrote what he thought and didn't hold back. More people need to write the truth. Lord of Limbo seems to not been deeply hurt by it, so he doesn't need a Hero, thanks.
I'm glad he wrote what he thought too - too bad he had to put it in such douche-y terms. (And, as you know, I only go "douche-y" on those who go there first. Doesn't make it right, but it's how this gansta' rolls.)
BTW - I'm not Limbo's hero any more than you're trying to be HoldKingSix's hero. This is a forum. I was speaking that "truth" you're always trying to get people to speak. What - does that not apply to dwarfs? ;)
While I got lost reading the whole thing I must say that congrats are in order here. You did a good job not on the report but on the deck. Wasn't this deck up for discussion a few days ago?
To be honest, I got nothing from the report in terms of what happened and how to play the deck, but after looking at the decklist, I think it is pure genius. I like the SHRA as a way to replenish your hand size since you can just recruit from your deck instead of your hand. I love to see multi-team decks as it shows creativity and originality. I like the idea, I just expected a little bit more details on what happened in the matches so I could get a better understanding of the match-ups and whatnot. Overall, good deck and good report.
Just wondering. How come you didn't play Acts of Defiance/Warskrull instead of the standard Multiverse? If you team-up Registration/Skrulls, your whole board is nuts. Especially with multiple Acts.

I was using them as Act of Defiances...but forgot to actually switch them around before the tournement...stupid panda.
I agree with most comments about the lack of detail. But I have tried to write a match report for this deck before, and making notes takes a LONG LONG time mid game. Like, 10 minutes a turn sometimes, with the amount of characters I have and tricks I use it can:
A- Take the piss writing
B- Fail to sound interesting when listing 10-18 characters actions.
C- Use more paper than you would believe
I am going to try to get some match reports with it, and put them in the thread in the deck garage as soon as I have a day or two free.
To be perfectly honest I would like to get a video camera on some games. But we haven't got one anymore...:(

I don't think people can judge other's opinions due to the fact that people are over sensitive these days. So yeah I don't think his post was at all "douche-y", it was just blunt. He didn't candy coat it and I'm glad he didn't. I'm really tired of having to censor myself and others to protect feelings. I only think you pass the line when you actually threaten someone.
But at the same time I don't see you telling people to tell it how it is instead of lying to the person. I see all the time "You did a great job" when in reality they made a bad [insert a type of writing from realms]. You should police them too instead of the people who just disagree.
BTW- I wasn't saving anyone, I know who the guy is, and if you met him you would know that he isn't a guy to bull#### you. And I'm glad because a lot of people don't do that, but it seems there is still a Realms volunteer police to campaign against posts that aren't "happy unicorns" and that still irks me because they don't let people just post what they want, no matter what they think of it.

Does that mean that I can start calling you "Carlos the Douch"?
I really like the deck idea, Limbo, but I'm bit surprised that you aren't playing a bit more disruption negation (Pathetic Attempt, Omnipotence, Ray Palmer <> The Atom, World's Smallest Hero, etc.). With the popularity of MKKO and Avengers in Modern and Silver, it seems like 1-drop KO effects could wreck your world. Heck, one copy of Speedy is basically an auto-win against your deck.

He could have been blunt without making it personal.

But you don't have to. Fire away! Just expect to be called on it every once in a while. It seems like this is a cry to dish it, but not have to take any of it yourself.

Not everyone has the same writing abilities or want the same things out of writing. When I was writing for vssystem.com, you took shots at my writing many times. But I wasn't writing for you. I was writing for the many casual players and people who emailed me who were trying to do more with this game then just build tier 1 decks to win prizes. (The point here is that to some, Limbo's report may have lacked details, but it served the purpose of getting them interested in the deck itself. Not ever tourney report has to be a work of art. Limbo worked hard on it. If it wasn't for you - fine - leave it. OR "don't hold back" and tell "the truth". Just do it without being an a-hole. Here's how:

Is the above not "the truth" because Patrick didn't make a personal attack in his critique? Is he holding back because he said some good stuff about the deck and report too? I'm sure Limbo will get much more out of this critique than one that's just on the attack.

Did I stop his post? Did I find a way to edit it? Again, this is seems to be a case of "I want to dish it out, but I don't want to take it."

How was it personal? I don't see any "Your mom..." or anything of that sort.
We can take it, but it seems like you can't take when other people give it out. It's not even our fight, but you started this argument by stepping in and trying to be the hero, I just followed.
So every critique has to be positive? I've seen critics rip apart a person because they didn't like their work, a ton of people disagreed, but no one told the to stop.
If you don't want critique then don't post it on a public forum, be ready to get stomped if you put it on the Internet. Next time just send it to your personal friends to read and give input if you can't stand to read bad reviews on the work done.
That's Patrick, but that's not holdkingsix, does he have to approve of something on the first post? What if he didn't like the whole thing? Then is he suppose to hold his mouth and censor himself? I guess the first amendment means nothing.
I'm not saying you are stopping it, I'm saying you want him to stop. It's like protesters, they aren't really stopping anything, but the point is to stop something from happening.
