We are almost sold out at our venue. I believe we have about 10 packs left out of a case. Hopefully they will be there for next weekend so I can get them lol...
I don't have a store nearby so I ordered for myself and friends. 16 boxes and I'm down to box and a half that we are saving to draft, but my friends are already asking me to see if I can get a hold of a few more boxes. I think UDE printed a few more MEV than the first print of MUN but not as much as with the second printing of MUN, so thats why we are seeing the product around.
the store I go to blew through a case before we even made it to hobby league night. they were able to get 3 more for that night (which sold then) and then 3 for this past weekend (which sold out). I personally bought a case online, a box, some packs, and some singles from my local store... I'm trying to talk them into buying another case so we can draft.
I live in Orlando near CoolStuffInc and I know they have sold a good amount of boxes for MEV online from what I've heard. They have had to restock a few times for sure.
I noticed that the price on boxes and cases is down from MUN, do you think this is a print run issue, an its the last set so lets just get it our the door before the announcement (or lack there of ) issue, or just a darn we can't hose them like we did for MUN since there isn't a huge event scheduled in two weeks.?

Sadly enough, that's a 50/50 call. It really could be either/or.
The reason Universe was so expensive when it was released was that Worlds was a few weeks away, which left little time for players to get their hands on the product and test with. So obviously demand was through the roof on it. Evolution doesn't have the same great set-up so it was bound not to blow up like Universe did. Also, Universe was like 50 cards bigger, so people had to buy more product to get play-sets, etc.
Regardless, so far Evolution seems to be selling well in the face of a potentially near-future announcement, and local players, including myself seem to like the set a lot. I'm glad we finally got some love for X-Factor and X-Force. It was too long before we saw them.

I think MUN is still a little lower because second prints mean stock arriving after the initial momentum has slowed a little. Any set produced this way would have the same result. It was a little larger, but that was all uncommons. The rares number the same, so that should not be a factor.
MEV has sold so well for me that I've just ordered another case. To me it shows that there's a really loyal base for this game and we'll be playing it for a long time regardless of how many more expansions we see published. It also shows that this game can be profitable for UD. Pokemon had a major dip and came back very strong, and I think the same potential is there for VS.
Our local store bought 2 boxes & only 5 packs have been bought out of it. Yea I bought the 5 packs & after our draft event coming up I plan on buying what is left.
Most of our local players quit playing after the release of MUN. The higher prices & hard to get rares were too much for their budget. Unfortunatly most of them have gone to playing Pokemon which has made me hate Pokemon.
Our local scene is fading. Luckily I have convinced some Yu-gi-oh players to pick up & play while I am @ the shop. They ain't buying anything but @ least they are willing to play. With the 5 packs I bought we played mini sealed tournament. Mini sealed is you take 2 packs take out the point cards, shuffle your 2 packs together & play. It is really fun & ultra random. I didn't pull anything bigger then a 5 drop in my 2 packs. The 2 5 drops I had were Rogue so I won hands down. 2 drop Cable & the Psimitar is the Shift!
