But it's a lot fair, so that keeps things nicely even.

Stu's allowed to have fun, as long as he stays within the rules. I'll call him out when he necros or posts in a blatantly incorrect forum, but it's a little petty to just come in here and make fun of him for being positive.

Personally, if I do something like having a bunch of friends over for a random fun day, we'd usually play boardgames, not card games.

- hex hex was kinda fun
- All munchkin games
- power plant

VS is fun, but those board games are money. plus you only have to buy it once (unless you reaaly want the expansion set)

My Hobby League is all about having fun. Between Big-100, Mini, and every random format we can come up with, we end up with Smilex-faces when it's all done. To Rian's point, I recently bought booster boxes of DSM and MMK for under $30. We're gonna do drafts for under $5 a person and are gonna have a blast.

On another note, if your REALLY want to have fun, do a Bring Your Own Sealed event some time. Everyone brings 5 packs of any single set they want and do sealed-tourny. It's a blast watching MSM vs DJL or DSM vs DLS.

One-box mono Underworld tournament, Marvel Knights vs. Marvel Team-Up.

Really good times. I pulled a foily 8-drop Mephisto to captain my deck and laugh out loud if I ever get to play him, with a swarm of New Bloods, 2 Nekra, The Darkhold for endurance gain, Reaper for beats, and a Dead Girl for spice. She has Shuma and a whole host of delicious darkness.

Fun, fun stuff.

Oh man, it keeps getting better.

We have tweaked the one-box Underworld decks until they hum like turbine engines.

Her Marvel Team-Up version now features Morbius, Shadow of the Vampire and Spider-Man, Parasitic Host - while mine packs enough Advanced Recon to get to turn eight for Mephisto, Father of Lies.

We love this game. It will never die.
