* Author of the Year: The Bear, one of the last remaining VS philosophers.
* Item of the Year: Tie. Marvel Universe, the best VS set ever released; and Battle of the Border, a fan event that was, from what I hear, run with more class and consistency than many official events.
* Community member of the Year: Kamiza, who I feel has pulled off the highest ratio of [demonstrated good cheer and optimism]:[reason to be cheerful and optimistic]. Your sticktoitiveness is an inspiration to us all.
* Troll of the Year: BigNuts. There isn't even any competition here... BigNuts is the biggest stain on the online community. We will all be better off when he gets hit by a truck.
