If they decided to continue being UDE after the loss of WoW and Yugioh (far fetched sure), then would they really put their eggs in a new game's basket rather than build on a product that has been making them money for well over a year now?

Well, for all the talk of these lisences having built in fan bases, none can even scratch the surface as to the number of comic readers there are. All ages groups, all demographics. Almost every country on the face of the planet.

They just want to low-ball it seems. Perhaps they can go after the less mainstream comics and cut the overhead costs for it. But when you have Marvel AND DC on board, and you fail... there is really no excuse. But what is worse, is thinking the grass is greener (meaning more profitable) somewhere else, and letting something that ISN'T FAILING die on the vine.

They seem to want to give up something whose profits = P, and strive to find that item where profit = Px2. But when that new product = P/2.... well.........

Rep For you my good man. All points to the marketing of this game and the lack thereof. You can't take flagships companies like Marvel and DC, who have been selling their products in all other media forms and cashing in and not do anything with it the way UDE has. Batman movie got released, we should have had some form of DC set out. Wolverine Origins we should have some set released or planned for it. Comics we should have had some form of advertising in them, but nope.
