I would love to see MW make a come back, with some changes tho from the old style of play that is. But there isn't a store within 50 miles of where I live that still plays or sells it. Most of the mom and pop retailers either sold or went out of business and most brick and mortar retailers have closed down. Sigh, guess I'll just keep staring at my figures and just dream of the old days.

Oh, but I didn't mean that you shouldn't be able to choose an affiliation. That probably could be taken care of with the help of an Allegiance Card or whatever you would like to call it. That way you can keep on using the Faction Prides as well. Also it might be an idea to have some units available for all factions, while others are mostly restricted to a limited number of factions or even one faction. And decals might be a nice solution for those who want their miniatures to look the part, come to think of it.

Its hard to keep any type of collectible game going indefinitely. Now that CGL has possession again, I would like to see the clix game (which is now owned by Pinata?) more reflective of the stats of the actual mechs. The did a little bit, but I think they could do better.

What was attractive about the clix system is that it made the universe accessible to the average player, without having sheets to keep track of tonnage, armor and systems.

I think they could do a lot with it, perhaps if they moved it back towards war gaming rather than a collectible game it may have a longer future. A lot of use it in that fashion anyhow, repainting and customizing.

Hopefully it can have a future in some way. I did enjoy it.

Well, its been almost 1 1/2 years since this post so i don't have much hope for a reply. I recently moved to the area and have a couple hundred diff units, a drop ship (one of the doors hinges are broken but still playable) and a strong desire to play again. I have looked around the area and not found much for game play of any sort of tabletop game. I was down in New Orleans for a little over 2 years and was saddened by the lack of game stores. To be honest i would get into ANY tabletop game right about now just for the play ... i used to play this and Star ship Troopers / a little DnD miniritures.

I was sad when i couldn't find my old info on here... well, cheers

I would love to get together and play. I haunt broke mine out in a while but I am planning on teaching one of my new friends. Once I get him into the game we should meet at a game shop and play. I have thousands of pieces.
