No Magical Mallet.... no way. I don't need any -1. And I have doing some research on this deck recently.... mainly tonight and I have seen that alot of SJC level versions of the deck have 3 Reckless. I haven't run into the problem of getting Final Countdown as of yet as just by stalling the battle phase I give myself and extra draw.
After studying alot of different versions of the deck I realized how unique my build is. I've seen versions with Dark Door and floaters, Zero Gardna recycled with Warrior Returning Alive, Dimensional Fissure and Gravekeeper's Servant, a mixed main deck of Final Countdown and Self-Destruct Button, but the most common was huge amounts of drawing with a little stall in between. I am not conviced that this would be the way to go as even in those decks watching them, they still wouldn't get Final Countdown until turn 3 which is about the same time I get mine. Or I get mine sooner. But not one version ran Cyber Valley, which is odd to me because Cyber Valley is probably the best stalling card in the deck as it replaces itself after ending the battle phase.
Another thing I noticed was Rainbow Life is very popular. I might still side it just for Blackwings and there trample. Icarus Attack is a problem that I noticed but I don't have Starlight Road yet. Heraklinos is probably the biggest problem of all, even over Royal Decree. If they can get him out I might as well pack it in if they have a War Chariot.

Well I think I finally came up with a side deck that I like.
3 Rainbow Life
3 Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter
3 Nightmare's Steelcage
1 Necro Gardna
1 Reinforcement of the Army
3 Warrior Returning Alive
1 Beckoning Light
Looks random but it really does have a purpose.
Rainbow Life is for the random burn decks as well as Blackwings, mainly cuz of Bora.
Ryko is something so I can hit Royal Decree. I like how it can also hit a monster as well so if Royal Decree isn't played I still have a decent monster to help out, unlike Storm or MST that won't help much outside of hitting Decree and maybe Oppression.
Reinforcement is to help search out Zero Gardna so I can use it in place of a trap card for my defensive needs and Warrior Returning Alive it to keep reusing Zero Gardna.
Necro Gardna comes natural with RotA and Ryko. And Beckoning Light lets me reuse Winged Kuriboh, Ryko and the rare times that Cyber Valley is in my graveyard.
Nightmare's Steelcage is about the only card I question. I have been debating on making it Starlight Road since Blackwings will kill me with Icarus Attack, Gladiators would lose Gyzarus, X-Sabers would lose Hyunlei and Saber Slash, and Judgement Dragon can suck it. Steelcage might be too fragile to play with.

I am looking at how useful Scrubbed Raid would actually be in here. Being a face-up battle phase negation card that must sacrafice a card to use it makes it a little iffy in my opinion. On the other hand it makes all my extra Final Countdown and Gold Sarco able to be used to negate a battle phase. I might test out 1 but I don't know how essential it really is.
I also moved all the Warrior Returning Alive to the main deck. Those with Zero Gardna make this so much more consistant. I am looking to work in a Necro Gardna to add a RotA target, but I have no idea what to take out for it.
After a long debate with myself about Scrubbed Raid, I decided to run 2 of them. There are too many times I have extra Final Countdown that I just hanging around or a top deck Gold Sarc that I don't need. This also makes it so Battle Fader can stop 2 battle phases, one for his effect, another for Scrubbed Raids effect.
I just have one inquiry about Scrubbed Raid. I can't find rulings anywhere about if Scrubbed Raid cannot send the card to the graveyard if I can activate the effect or not. I think that Raid has this condition but if anyone has any knowledge saying otherwise I need to know. I have been compairing it to Card Trooper and Honest vs Marco Cosmos which cannot activate there effects under Cosmos so I am just assuming I can't. Just like how I won't be able to use tokens as they don't go to the graveyard.
And this is the deck I am going to be taking to regional tomorrow. I only mildly fear Blackwings with this. Bora and Icarus Attack are my worst enemy. Hopefully I face alot of Synchro Cat and Zombies.
I just did what should have been the most obvious change in this entire thread. I added in 3 Dimensional Alchemist to recycle Cyber Valley and Battle Fader. I was overlooking SalvoDaD and kept thinking about how good it is to have a stall engine of Battle Fader and Dimensional Alchemist and then I just felt stupid for never trying it out in here. I think this should work much better now.
