That's a good point. I don't like MBAAS though. Maybe MST. Though good point on ROTA.

Until I get the Emmersblades (which will probably be a while, end of yearish unless they greatly reduce in price) I'm going to be running 2 Giant Rat's and 1 Fulhelmknight instead. After I've got the Emmersblades I'm going to be runnig 1 Fulhelm instead of an Airbellum (but will be siding it). Blue suggested I try it, and I'm liking it (I prefer Fulhelm to Airbellum anyway :)).
I've done some more testing and there was only one time where I couldn't get an Airbellum with Rescue cat (when I drew both in my first 6 cards). But managed to double Darksoul and set up for a five monster swarm the next turn. My record has greatly improved against my brother's Chaos Deck with me winning the next 10 (ish) duels easily (so now it's 12-3 to me).
Blue, I'd go with the 2 Airbellums and the 2 Fulhelmknights over 3 Airbellums and 1 Fulhelmknight. I'm finding it alot better (but then again I use Fulhelmknight ALOT (he's what I usually get from Emmersblade).
And Blue, how has your testing been going concering the Airbellum/Fulhelmknight swap?

Well, had an unlucky spell last night where I needed one off cat and already spent both, twice. But other than that its been testing nice. Lot fewer dead opening hands. Its an inevitable risk with the Cat engine. Tournament today, warm-up for nats on saturday. Hope all goes well.
Me too. Good luck. Be sure to win :) and let us know how it goes.
ended up doing the tournament with my froggy monarch deck i built for a friend. Quite pleased with it, though I ended up losing to a quickdraw deck on bad luck only. He had a good backline game 1, won it fair and square. I blew him off the field game 2. Game three we both opened with crap hands, but he sets up a field, with a card trooper, I play battle fader, I sack it for DDS and attack, which should have given me the upper hand, but of all things, from the draw he got from trooper he draws gorz right after I wipe his whole field ... If not for that ...
Tested my sabers the whole rest of the day though and may implement some last minute changes. the way its been testing i'm simply not seeing enough ways to safeguard my field from monsters, and not getting enough mileage out of trap stun, however great it is when it does work. So may end up putting back two saber holes instead of trap stun. Saber hole is very conditional but it eats up resources and is a good set once you have your field set up since now they have to remove the backrow to launch an assault, and only infernities do that with any degree of consistency. If I go that way, I may end up replacing Heavy storm and ROTA with two Nobleman of extermination, or one NOE and an MST. NOE in and of itself isn't that great, you'll almost never remove a trap with it. But I haven't been looking at it the right way. Much like trap stun, it forces an inopportune triggering of certain cards. Its golden against things like war chariot, opposing saber holes (even if it is at the cost of your own) mirror force, torrential, dimensional prison etc, but its not bad against things like book of moon either, because triggering it during the main phase before your summon means you can flip the monster back up if they chain it. Or adjust your strategy if you hit Waboku or threatening road.
Side
+1 Fulhelmknight
+1 MST
-1 The Transmigration Prophecy
I have recently been finding Emmers to be a bit of a dead draw (I seemed to be drawing them all at once, no matter how I shuffled and the cost...) so -1 Emmers and +1 Airbellum. So now I'm running 2 Fulhelms and 3 Airbellums.
The extra space in my side is going to be MST. Thinking of - The Transmigration Prophecy and + 3rd Fulhelm in my side, and I'll decide on the day about the ratio of Airbellums and Fulhelms.
Saber Hole vs Trap Stun will probably decide on the day. I would like to side the one I don't run with but don't know what to take out, -2 Pulling The Rug?

Foils pull together when you shuffle a certain way. Try to pile shuffle instead. Or bling out your deck :p I've never found emmers to be a dead draw really. Reason I took one out is solely for the reason that with the ruling on fulhelms special summon ability, he might be a better pick. I also added a third book of moon to support that.

What do you think Blue?
If you main saber hole you can side trap stun, but if you main trap stun, then keep the pulling the rugs. If you are going to side them in it will be against monarchs and machines usually, so rug is better than hole, since you don't need a saber on the field.

I'm still using proxies...haven't got around to buying yet. I plan to tomorrow.

TT is one of those cards you put in your side while you are unsure, but come tournament time, its a card, if sided, you will never side in as it won't make one iota of difference. So basically you main it or you don't play it. I just cut mine for space restrictions.

The reason I've sided it is space (I thought I'd try BoMs and I loved them). Also if I overextend (I'm getting a little better at not doing it...) then that is some way to recover. The thing I would take out for it is probably the Solemn, if I was to main it. In my last 20ish duels I haven't needed it and when I drew it I wished it was something else. If I cut either form my side I will then be siding the Transmigration Prophecy.

I prefer Boggart to Airbellum. 6 lvl 3 tuners is a bit much. I've found Airbellum isn't to good at holding the field. Boggart gives me explosiveness. I may try swapping Boggrat and Airbellum in my side, but I like the way it's testing at the minute. Thanks for the input!
