I never played this myself, but I did see quite a few armies (including mine) get my ### handed to me by this one:

Kossak Darkbringer - 193 pts.
Blade of Dominance - 40pts.
Troll Smasher (***) - 60pts.

I was playing my favorite 1.0 army at the time, and like an idiot focused all my firepower on the Smasher out of fear of that Thunderblow. I'd say facing this one taught me the use of those "crap" 16-20pt. figures as blockers.

I gotta admit, Kossak is a fricken juggernaut. Luckily, I've never played against him seeing as how I'm the only one in my area who has him. Unfortunately (or luckily depending on which side of the board you're on), Blade of Dominance doesn't protect from ranged attacks. I ran an army a few times with Kossak that had him and 3 *Blood Demons plus a Cloak of Shadows. 300pts even. Not the toughest army out there, but if it didn't manage to whomp on another army, at least the other guys had a devil of a time taking it down.
