My gaming group still meets up weekly, because none of us are old people and therefore not threatened by COVID-19. If we catch it, oh well, we'll be fine.

I guess none of you, from your gaming group, are in contact with anyone else at all, and won't be until the virus disappear in a few months.
Because if anyone, from your gaming group, see any one else outside of your group, that group member can potentially catch the virus, and then transmit it to all of your group.
The risk is if you see anyone above 30yo or suffering from a health weakness (that's the risk criteria as per who could die from the disease so far), you will likely to transmit it to that person and gamble on if that person will stay healthy or will fall sick.
Then that person could recover with just a bit of rest and light drugs, or end up needing assistance from an hospital. And as proven in Italia with their numerous coffins going out of hospital on a daily basis, hospital ressources arent illimited.
But it's all about gambling.

This is highly irresponsible and ignorant.
