Part of the reason it's be a reboot is that the computer with my old files on it was stolen a few years back, so I've lost all those glorious lists of who I've already used. If I didn't reboot, I'd probably mess up and accidentally include a repeat.
Reboot keeps me safe. Although, if you have the lists, I could just make it a continuation many years later, Will and Grace style.
You had Vivian from the first season of AHS.
(I’ll never forget how much I enjoyed the role and the irony of it. :D )

Any theme could be anonymous. If people want, I'd do it. I love anonymous games. Always a lot if fun.
There have been some requests for anonymous in the Wednesday game nights. That being said, I'm most interested in a TV reboot or SSBU. I also do care about Arkham and Hastur and The King in Yellow are some of my favorite parts of the mythos, but I'd like to see a TV mafia first.
I don’t even know what an anonymous game is, I’ve never I’ve never played in one. I’d be down.
It's played on a proboards. A assign everyone a generic name and no one reveals who they are.
Nicknames are themed. I've used colours, countries, elements, fruits, flowers and alcohol in past games.
So you play Mafia with the same people, but identities are hidden. That way, all grudges and preconceptions get left behind because you don't actually know who anyone is.
My big issue with the Arkham games is that they feel like they sacrifice game for theme. In order for the Big Bad to feel like a proper horror, they have to be crazy powerful (or at least unkillable). But that makes the game unbalanced. It becomes an authentic Arkham experience, but loses the thread of what a mafia game is about.
I enjoyed the tone and powers of the previous games, but the looming unkillable baddy spoils things for me.

If I run Arkham 3, it's a problem I intend to address.
Anonymous games are a good chance to experiment. You don't have to be boxed in by people's expectations.
I think part of the reason I’m not fond of anonymous games is because I like taking those pre-conceived notions about me and using them against people.
