Despite the untimely death that lay in front of everyone, not everyone had comments on it. Some just wanted to survey the scene and wait for their actions to speak for them.


Night 1 starts now. You have 24 hours.

Night 1: That Was Unexpectedly Wild


The man with the weapons was excited for nightfall, because he was extra motivated. Not only was he going to eliminate one nuisance, but suddenly he had realized he had time to take out two nuisances!

The first target was a whiny woman, who put up a surprisingly good fight, but soon succumbed to her fate. The other guy didn’t put up a fight at all. It just wasn’t in his nature. The man with the weapons was pleased in the end, despite this nagging feeling that he could’ve done better…

Whatever. They knew what they did.

The strange puppy was sniff-snorfing around, as dogs do, when he came across a weird unfamiliar smell. And he knew just about every bad smell, so he was confused. He looked up and saw two young men standing in front of him.

“Do you think we smell bad or something?” one of them asked the other when he realized what the dog was doing.

“Nah, it’s probably DestructoBoy he’s smelling,” the partner answered.

“But…he’s not the same as us…”

The partners sniffed their own pits, then shrugged.

“So, are we gonna do this thing or what?”

“Yep. Let’s get him in the oven.”

And that was the last time the dog was ever seen.

StormCrawler is dead! He was Daryl the Disgusting, a combination of Emile from Ratatouille and Snarf from Thundercats (Town)!

RenegadeRoy is dead! He was Porky the Sausage Pug, a combination of Ein from Cowboy Bebop and Meatwad from Aqua Teen Hunger Force (Town)!

That is a startling amount of townie deaths

Well that happened. Not quite sure what to make of it yet. First two deaths were clearly the work of the same person, so what? One of the mafia can make two night kills? Don’t know about the third town death though. Definitely two entirely different people than the first though.

We can safely assume that one of the killers is Mafia, the question is if the other killer is a vigilante or a serial killer.

The person killing two players was likely 'encouraged' by another player, allowing the killer to act twice. Which means that if someone is willing to come forward and say "I targeted player X with the power to act twice last night", that will give us a starting point for who to look at today.

Provided that no one else has any more useful information to go on.

Or is it a wry commentary on the state of the Mafia games hibernation?

As I would be greatly shocked to find out the Mafia could encourage, that’s likely a fantastic lead.

Yeah, I got nothing. The first guy definitely sounds to me more like a serial killer instead of a Vig. And at any rate I guess we won’t know for sure until we have more to go on.

I was the one doubled last night. I'd rather admit that then let the doubler out themselves at this point. I was orignally going to take no action but was doubled and wasn't sure what to do.

No, it's a wry commentary on the "see you next year"/"haven't done x since last year" jokes that happen every year from the last few days in December to the first few days in January.

Well that answers that question. Unless Wade here is lying their ass off, I’m leaning toward believing them. I feel like it’s unlikely at this point that we also have a SK running around. Or we do and it’s Wade. But I don’t think that that’s the case.

Teammate? I literally have no idea what this means. Actually for real, this is my third game.

And I wasn’t saying that I’m 100% accurate. Nor am I saying that nothing else is possible. I was just throwing my thought process out there. Like it’s only Day 2. If anyone has any other ideas I am open to listening. All I’m saying is at this point everything is wild speculation. So I’m speculating. Unless you have some insight into what went in last night?
