I'll probably get around to post the scenario, but that is a different sort of beast. (Remembering to) Format/fight with the dials was more work than I expected. I didn't include the sword text for "reasons".
Totes fair. That part was pretty much a rush job anyway, and there isn’t a lot of meat on its bones.

This post is simply a grumble that I'm peeved that the character of Genesis/Annihilation is only represented as a retail chase, an OP SR, and an (awesome) OP LE. Each is a worthy enough dial, and I can't really fault WK for putting the character at the highest rarities. I'll go ahead a preemptively make the same grumble about the OP-only members of the First Horsemen!
I don't feel the same amount of grumble about the rarity of Apocalypse; this is tempered by the impressive number of versions of the character we've gotten from retail sets in the past several years... even if they've all (modulo DR robot) been at the high-rarity end of the spectrum.
I feel that Blink and Professor X are the most out-of-place. The dials certainly fall into the category of "good enough", yet.... Professor X really only has one really good trick (drawing lines-of-fire through some teammates to use the awesome Outwit), ultimately the character is of so little relevance to me as a member of a combat team I just can't get excited for this piece.
...snips...
If I were to rate my wants from the chases, they would roughly go:
...snips...
#8 Professor X <- I wrote it all above.
I hope you all pull the chase(s) you want!
This was a zero-comic week for me, so I bought an XoS booster, and guess who was inside:
#064 Professor X
Real Name: Charles Xavier
Team: X-Men
Range: 6
Points: 75/40
Keywords: Illuminati, Quiet Council, Starjammers, X-Force, X-Men, Politician, Ruler

RALLY (Opposing attack rolls 5): FREE: Remove one of Professor X's RALLY dice to choose a friendly character with a shared keyword within range and line of fire. This turn, Professor X may count range and draw lines of fire from the chosen character and uses his printed combat values when doing so. FORGING THE CEREBRO SWORD: Once per game when an opposing equipment would be KO'd, you may instead equip it to a friendly character. If you do, that character can use Blades/Claws/Fangs this game. NO MORE: Outwit. When he uses it, the duration doesn't end until he uses it again or this power is lost.
I stand by my earlier assessment. The full dial isn't bad when historically compared to the games earliest versions of the characters with Mind Control, but there is so little for me to be exited about. 6 is all he gets, with no improved targeting? I'm not entirely sure why I'd even consider using the Mastermind to keep this piece top-dial.
The RALLY is decidedly mediocre, and is unlikely to be that useful in general practice. The Outwit is different, but it can be Outwitted, and in most circumstances players will get more utility by changing up the powers that Outwit is used on each turn. the Cerebro Sword is one of the least useful traits ever, as there are precious few recent pieces of equipment that can even be KOed in common play. I feel like maybe this trait was meant to be "Once per game when an opposing equipped character would be KOed..."... that would at least be a reason to play this dial.

Wow he really isn't that great, especially for a chase. His rally is decent and is the best thing going for him. But outside Modern I'd go with UXM 034 for the long range persistent outwit, or GSX 036 for the rally mechanic. For my concerns the UXM rare can be given the Starjammers keyword by using HoX Corsair's 018.02 team up card.
Corsair 019.02:
TEAM UP: STARJAMMERS THEMED TEAM: When establishing themed teams, friendly characters with the Shi'ar and Imperial Guard keywords gain the Starjammers keyword. (After revealing forces, you may replace character cards with their alternates. You can't choose a Team Up if your starting characters share a name.)
