Ok, I'm putting the re-match on pause. We're up to 27.5 rounds.
Are you timing the games? Obviously, games between two OMAs are going to move faster, but that is so many more rounds than most normal games go through.
Waller KOs: AA Robin, Kid Devil, Joker, Question; AW E Cap; FCBD Iron Man; Miracle/Oberon; John Stewart x2, Iron Patriot; Shatterstar; IH Herc; CW Photon & Nitro; FF Nite Owl; 10An R Thor, E Iron Man, Weapon X; FF Kilowog; Hugo Strange; Calender Man; Legion Cosmic Boy & Lightning Lad, LE Pete Wisdom
Don't feel bad. I almost always learn something from Joe G.
Awww... Thanks! Filler Filler Filler

This. Joseph Galloway definitely knew his ####.

I haven't. I probably will next time. Again, the first trials only provided sub-optimal information.
Turn 2. Kong fails Regeneration. // Probability: 17% // (1/6)=0.17.
Why does he not fail 1/3 of the time? Regen heals for 1 less on a stop click, so a roll or 1, or 2 would fail, yes?
Or am I missing something.
Assuming he fails his free-action one 33%, and takes a power action with another 33% fail chance.
That means he fails altogether about 11% of the time.

You modify the roll -1, then halve the result.
2-1=1; 1/2=0.5; 0.5=1.
I think. If I'm wrong, then I blame JaguarPhD.

I know Kong can roll a 1 and heal nothing, but he can regen again as FREE in that instance.
Never say never, but unless Kong gives doomsday flurry, he just wins on the fact that he has STOP/regen/regen as FREE. The only way around that is multiple attacks per turn.
But, yeah; after looking at rules, I think that you're right, MegaLotusMan.
Yup, a roll of 2 would also not heal on a stop click. Whoops! Still some pretty low odds given the ability to regen more than once, but changes the math.
Abiding by this, re-match in progress; I'm not keeping track of time. I'm taking a break, now. Current click numbers bolded.

If Kong can attempt Regeneration twice in one turn, then he is in very good shape, as he heals at least 1, 89% of the time; 1-(2/6)(2/6)=0.89. Round three, in red, is where Kong failed.
When Doomsday's printed attack is a printed 11-12, he's much more manageable for Kong, as he stands a decent chance at missing.
Doomsday cannot do penetrating damage, so Kong's impervious beats Doomsdays Invincible.
Kong has regeneration.
Kong has the longer dial.
And, Kong keeps the higher stats.
That only applies to defense value.
The lowest amount of damage that Doomsday will deal is 5. The lowest attack value that he will have is 12.
Kong, on the other hand, is 4 and 10, respectively. And he has to leave Doomsday's Restraints on, or he will get slapped silly.

I think that I have to give the edge to Kong, though. If Kong can knock Doomsday down to a printed 11-12, while above his own first STOP, then the odds are very much in Kong's favor, IMO.

Thanks for the info btw!!!
Timey Wimey Wibbley Wobbly.... just not in that order....
If you're not being sarcastic, then thank you. If you are, then...be nice.
NO sarcasm intended....I meant it about the tennis comment....
It feels like it will be one LONG match though!!!
I put my money on Doomsday early on (even though my heart will ALWAYS be with Kong!!) so I'm really interested in your results.
Rep to you btw....
