I know I'm a snail most of the time but man, I wish I could get the Avengers closer to the action. There's not enough movement here nor tk, especially with my plan.
Strange calls on the HX Gambit recruit, who's not very silver age but only a recruit. Mags tks him to J10.
RS to M16 on Starro, Bats, Canary. SC is 1. Gets 8. With ps that will do 1 to all 3.
Now PM can mc again. Starro's as good as any choice. Gets 9.
Starro on Joker, Kyro, Speedy. 7. Joker: 11. SS is 5, Joker's safe. 3 to Speedy, ko Kyro.
Since I can't do much if I move him closer I'll back him off to WZ21,22.
1 to Starro now in WX21,22. 1 to Bats and Canary. Kyro koed. 3 to Speedy.

Puppet Master regains his composure. "I'm not afraid of falling calamari," he replies creating a Starro doll to control as the starfish attacks his own allies.
He charges to N11, snags the ho under Bats and attacks. SC: 1. Rolls 6. That's a one shot ko.
Man, I feel so limited as to what I can do even though there's 2 other pieces I could go for. Ant-Man and Wasp move to block, free move to K12. They'll outwit cce on Canary.
PM outwits wp on Speedy.
Batman koed and blocked. Canary's cce and Speedy's wp outwitted.

Starro triple targets Puppet Master, WAAM, and Hulk. AV10 on DV15, 18 and 19 (You mentioned their We Are the Avengers Defense Bonus, but that's a Damage power that doesn't kick in until their end dials) Gets 9. Ooh. Tough one. I'd like to KO PM, but I shouldn't pass up the opportunity to hit Hulk's 19DV while my dice are being nice. So 2 to Hulk after Invulnerable.
Scarecrow to S15, Perplexes WAAM's DV -1 more.
Black Canary on them, AV11 on DV18-2, gets 5. Which is enough. 3 to them.
Robin Charges to O10 on WAAM. AV11 +1 on DV17. Gets 9. 3 more.
Joker Sides to R14, uses his "Does This Smell Funny" SP to smoke cloud and attack WAAM, Gets AV11 from Scarecrow on DV17, no Tiny Bonus since it counts as a close attack. Gets 6. Using the SP can only give them a token.
"Batman!" Robin cried out. "I can't get to that Hulk, but I can make sure somebody pays for that," the Boy Wonder said.
"Stay back, Robin. Me first," Black Canary warned him as she use her Canary Cry on Ant-Man and the Wasp. It didn't matter how tiny they were, the sound waves struck them all the same.
"Leave the Hulk to me," Starro 'spoke' in Robin's head and the giant creature lashed out at the Jade Giant with a mental attack.
Magneto makes a Scarlet Witch, WOTR. IM tks her to
PM to mc Starro. 6.
He attacks Joker, Scarecrow, Chimp. 7. Joker: 7. Sadly that only gets Joker and that's a maybe. SS: 2. Kos Joker. Break? 1.
THor hss to J15 after IM boosts his range, he attacks Speedy. Rolls 9. Kos him.
Wanda to M15 to block.
Hulk to break? 4. Charges to R14, grabbing an LO to hit Starro and blocking Joker, rolls 3. Wanda makes it 7. 2 to Starro after invulnerable.
Joker and Speedy koed and blocked. 2 to Starro.

"Puppet Master. I calculate that you will not have enough time to mold a puppet of me before I destroy you," Brainiac said, immediately following it up with an attack.
"A bat-smoke-grenade ought to take care of these two tiny threats," Robin said, lobbing one at Wasp and Ant-Man.
"If the Hulk can hear, then his eardrums can't be invulnerable. If you understand what I'm getting at," Detective Chimp said.
In for Puppet Master is Hawkeye. FFAI feels right and is probably my go to despite the age. He attacks Starro. Needs 6, rolls 9. 6 for Brainiac. KOs the big guy. Hawkeye sides to H20.
Thor hss to K17 on Brainiac. Gets 7. SS: 2. With RCE, that's 4 to Brainiac, and now you're out of PC again. Of course you can't be surprised when you put him in my front lines. Thor ends in F17.
I want another classic villain. I'm doing him no favors but SFOSM Dr. Octopus replaces WAM. Outwits CR on Robin and goes to town. Gets 9, does 2. And again. Gets 6, does 2. One more time. Gets 6, finishes him. Ock sides to L11 to block.
I could use a recruit to block Starro probably but it won't save Hulk or Ock so I'll hold off.
Robin koed and blocked. Starro koed. 4 to Brainiac.
