Hated to lose Arthur so fast but it is what it is.
Booster JLU: 6. Nice. He'll take a token off of Firestorm.
Firestorm RS to G6 on WT and MK. SC is 5. Gets 5. I have two pcers, three since Rogue can borrow X's. Xanadu: 5. Rogue: 9. 3 to MK, the bigger threat.
Well, I was going to replace with Bane but he's a little outside our 'bronze age' era which ends in 1991 with the X-Men reboot. He's 1993. Then I was thinking Doomsday and the infamous 'he killed Superman' storyline. But that's 1992.
I'll dig out an old Hobgoblin who was, at one time, a terror. ASM014b. Mantis ups his av and removes a token from Xanadu. Xanadu tks him to F10.
Hobs RS to E15 and pulses. 11. 1 to WT, MK, Captain, Beyonder, Gambit. All also get a token which kos MK, not what I wanted.
Minotaur to A13 to block.
MK koed and blocked. 1 to WT, MK, Captain, Beyonder, Gambit and a token.

I grabbed Eradicator from the Death/Rebirth of Superman, fully confident that he fit in Bronze - though Wikipedia confirms that the character did debut a few years before so technically still legal - but I wonder if we need to move the goalposts just a little. Both those storyline events you mentioned certainly feel solidly in Bronze, even if sort of the end of it. (Wikipedia also gives 1986 as end of Bronze Age, so it's obviously fluid depending on who you're talking to)
Jackal is in. SFSM. EAX is definitely Modern. Moves to F21, Outwits SC on Hobgoblin
Eradicator RS to G15 on Hobgoblin, Av12 on DV17. Gets 6. 4 to him after Toughness, with Enhancement.
Starfire HSS to H15 on Hobgoblin, AV11 on DV16. Gets 2. Eradicator 9. KOs him. Starfire ends J18
Well, I'd say we a) keep as is 1991, b) back to 1986 or c) move forward a few years but that feels vague. Also, if we wanted one more of these (not saying we do, or even suggesting it) those figures would be welcome. That era might be hardest.
Whatever we decide won't effect my turn.
Booster JLU: 6. Wow, that rarely works, removes the token from Firestorm. Mantis does the same for Madame.
Firestorm RS to A9 on WT, hardly worth the ko and forced block. SC: 1. Gets 7. Yup, done.
Minotaur moves to block.
OK, Bullseye can a big part of the epic Daredevil in the 80s. Rogue tks him to D9.
He goes after Gambit. Gets 9. SS: 4. 3 to Gambit, 1 to him.
"Gambit, X-Men dude with long hair and faux French accent. Thinks he's God's gift. Bet my toys are better than yours," Bullseye says.
"Mon ami, you're on!" Gambit says sending out his cards as Bullseye throws a single blade. Said blade cuts through all but one card and hits Gambit in the left shoulder; making his arm useless.
"Got you," Remy says.
"Take solace in that," he replies with a maniacal grin, "Next time, I'll finish the job."

I guess we established 1991 as the cut-off, and it's as good a marker as any. Let's stick with it, and choice is arbitrary it seems, so no real need to change the one we chose at the start. I would disagree that a modern era game would be hardest though - the the game's strong emphasis on newer characters and storylines, there's so much to pick from for a Modern Age game.
Starfire, Beyonder WP - 2,5
Start with Beyonder on the Minotaur, Perplexes Minotaur's DV to 16. AV10, gets 10. KOs him.
Sprite to D19
Eradicator RS to E15 on Bullseye, AV12 on DV18+1. Gets 9, 4 to him.
Gambit Perplexes his own Range to 8. AV10 on DV16 now, gets 9. KOs him too.
Stryfe "feels" Modern, but he was 1990. He TKs Jackal to F15
Jackal to C9 for the block, He will Outwit Firestorm's Perplex, then Perplex his own DV+1
Jackal makes a great show of this Beast’s skills. He moves to I3 to outwit cr, sc and outwit on Jackal.
Psylocke charges him at D8. Gets 3. All my pc is blocked by Beast or the elevated. Hate seeing a new version of a favorite not get to show their stuff.
SMBA punisher debuts. Leads. 1. Mantis removes a token from Xanadu who tks Punisher to H5.
He will pb/rce on Jackal. Rolls 10, 2 5s. 4 to him, kb to A11, for 1 more and a ko.
I guess Firestorm will rs to A11 attacking Erad, makes his av 12. Gets 6. Close but not enough.
You've got Terrain Markers in D/E4 and G/H9. D/E4 you threw up as Booster's Free Barrier a couple turns ago and I would guess you're just maintaining it there, but G/H9 I'm thinking should probably be cleared? Not sure it will matter this turn, but correct me if I am wrong
Sprite, Beyonder WP - 6,5
Sprite TKs Beyonder to E16, Sidesteps to D17, Outwits ESD on Firestorm.
Beyonder Perplexes Firestorm's DV-1
Metropolis to F16
Beyonder on Firestorm, AV10 on DV17 -1. Gets 5. 9 for Sprite. 4 with Enhancement to him.
Gambit for the finisher, Av10 on DV16. Gets 7 and that's done.
Killer Croc is very Bronze Age. He's my replacement.
Stryfe TKs him to H16
Croc to A11 to block
Starfire HSS to F11 on Psylocke. SC is 1. AV11 on D18. Gets 7. 3 to her. Starfire ends in F14
"Firestorm? You can manipulate things, right? Guess what? So can I!" Sprite said, and she countered Firestorm's force field.
"What do I do now, professor?" Ronnie asked.
"I would suggest a tactical retreat," Professor Stein said, but even as he turned to run, he was too late, Gambit and the Beyonder were already taking advantage of his vulnerability.
"Aw, too bad, I wanted a piece of him," Killer Croc surfaced.
"You may have a piece of the next one," Starfire promised, catching Psylocke with a shot from above. "May I suggest that one?"
