Okay, thanks to all who have helped to clear this up for me, but just to be sure, let's restate:
1) Pulsewave shuts down all powers within its range, including your own. So, if you have a Perplexer OUTSIDE the Pulsewaver's range, he/she can Perplex up the clix of damage the Pulsewave will do from 1 to higher?
2) When Pulsewave targets multiple figs, Damage is reduced to 1. But, when you are targeting ONE figure, your Pulsewave attack's damage stays at the printed value? (ex: V Human Torch is on his uberclick with Pulsewave; provided he rolls well, can he hit someone for 4 clicks of unmodified damage?)

Keep in mind that while terrain blocks LOF for PW, other figures do not.
You might actually find it more useful to Perplex up the PWer's range, especially in the case of Cyborg and LE Doom. It is an effective way to bypass Impervious and Super Senses without using an Outwit, so I try to make it as wide ranging as possible. (Just keep those Perplexers out of its range.) It is a great tactic against the Invisible Girl clusters.
