I'm lukewarm about the character. He always seemed just so-so.

I think he sounds pretty accurate though. He never was a real powerhouse - mixing it up with the other X-men.

I would have thought he'd get a click or two of Impervious - I thought only the Summer boys (Cyke and Havok) were lethal to him. Although intereesting they gave him the coveted 17 defense with Invulnerability.

Perplex works great with this fig - allowing him to boost either attack or damage as needed.

And for some reason I would have liked Mastermind on him. Guess there wasn't much room. Interesting how he's not that much more expensive than Luthor (35 points) Mr. Bones (26 points) and Brother Blood (4 points) yet will work better supporting his lackeys and is more of a threat to the more powerful figures.

A long dial will keep him around awhile. A good U to trade for...

This sucks i was hopeing for Ultimate thor not this loser or at least so morlok.

The full extent of Sinister's powers have never really been plumbed, but these are definitely good choices. I expected phasing, too -- he always manages to get into and out of places no-one would expect. Maybe not the greatest in 3-400 point games, but above that I expect he could sneak under the radar and get some good hits in -- or distract from other figures. With an extremely deep dial and regen, he'll be hard to kill. Just as he should be.

Mr. Sinister is one of the Xmen villains. He cloned Jean Grey to create Madaleine Pryor (Cyclop's first wife, mother of Cable, and later the Goblin Queen). He also assembled the Marauders, the group that massacred the Morlocks. I don't know everything about his past, but I think he was associated with Apocalypse at some point.

Not a bad representation of the figure. I like the perplex, it evens out some of his lower stats (9AV, 6 range), and it makes sense because he's not a front-line attacking kind of character. He's someone that manipulates from the edges, but if he is forced to he is a capable attacker.

Nice to see the Marvel sculpts are starting to match their DC adversaries - a very nice fig. But the powers and stats don't sound interesting enough. Gonna pass on this guy...

Mr. Sinister eh? Well now Apocalypse can have a buddy to team up with. While I agree with all the powers given to him I feel that he will end up only as a second tier unique as his master did.

The sculpt looks good, but so far out of both the uniques previewed for this set -- I want neither.

However, I'll hold out to cast judgment on the set until all the other figures are released.

Great looking sculpt. True, his range and attack seem on the low side. I'm curious about how long he keeps Psychic Blast. Heh, with 10 clicks of life, he has 1 more than Apocalypse, his immortal, nigh-indestructable, creator...

*Yawn*

So that's what happened to all the left over HT Hawk pieces.

Thats not too bad for a "support" character. Moloid is sooo jealous!

Cool Sculpt and notable character that we needed, but for playability I'll stick to my Vet. Rasputin...

im dissappointed! hes a unique with the stats of a rookie white queen. sure hes got the perplex and outwit but for 109 points? you can use rookie white queen(61) r black panther(27) and r con artist(11) for 99pts and you get leadership and a free move team ability not to mention mindcontrol stealth and supersenses!

hes destined for theme teams everywhere!

so far im still interested in ultimates but this preview actually hurt my interest slightly. wizkids is lucky cap is awesome and that captian britian is gonna be in the set!

So far the uniques haven't really excited me too much as they did for Unleashed. Mr. Sinistar doesn't look bad sculpt wise, but not sure how he would play. Will have to wait to see his full stats.

So far Exp White Queen looks better for the 8 range, 10 AV psychic blast. Then again, she falls pretty quick as well..
