Curiously, by pushing to attack, you did the same amount of damage to yourself that I would have done to you with the Energy Explosion. Of course, you made me take some decent damage too, in the process.

My SWAT guy will try to hit Boomerang. At least there he has a chance. AV5 against DV14, he needs an 9. He gets a 4. Black Cat uses her PC. Reroll is also a 4. Well. Fine.

The SWAT Officer tried to shoot back at Boomerang, but still shaken from the concussive force of th explosion, his aim was well off.

"Sorry we got you into this," the Black Cat apologized to him, ducking behind a satellite dish that someone had set up on the corner of the roof.

Spider-Man, rolling around on the rooftop, finally managed to extricate himself from Kraven's trap. "Torch," he said, throwing the webbing down with some disgust, "don't you say a word."
"Who? Me?" The Human Torch gave the best innocent look that he could, considering he was on fire.

Well, if you'd used Black Cat to copy the SHIELD team ability, the damage from the SWAT guy would have been two clicks each to Boomerang and Bullseye. Of course, they're either going to get burned by Torch or smacked by Spidey next turn, so...

Taskmaster moves to R11.

Ranged ninja moves to R10 to assume the position TM just vacated.

"Gentlemen, be on guard! Spiderman has slipped his bonds!" called Kraven.

Bloomin' perfect, thought Boomerang, ducking to avoid the SWAT officer's wild shots.

Taskmaster considered. "Shen, the time is almost right." At this indication, the man's second student stealthily crept up to his teacher, and the two changed their positions on the battlefield.

Kraven the Hunter spied Black Cat lurking near the edge of the rooftop. "Tut tut, Felicia," he whispered. Pulling out several small spheres from a puch at his hip, he reared back and threw them with all his strength. Upon impact, they exploded in a blinding flash, directly in front of the cat burglar.

"BC - you OK?" asked Spiderman.

Felicia Hardy rubbed her eyes. "Just fine, sugar - or I will be, once I stop seeing spots..."

Human Torch will use Running Shot, move to L7, taxi SWAT Guy to L6, and shoot at Boomerang, AV8 on DV14. Needs a 6. Got the 6 (3+3), so Boomerang takes 2 damage and knockback to S7. Try hitting someone with that 4 AV now, why don't you?

I push Spider-Man to Leap Climb to R7.

With a cry of "yeeeeeha!" the Human Torch blasted off the roof, carrying the SWAT officer in one hand and blasted away at Boomerang with the other. Taken off guard by the sudden attack, Boomerang stumbled back away from the edge of the roof.

Overhead, Spider-Man swung from one rooftop over to the next, flipping over the cornice and landing right between Bullseye and Boomerang.
"Hi guys, can I join you? I can toss a pretty mean lawn dart!"

Daredevil took advantage of Spider-Man's distraction to close the distance. He paused next to the Torch, taking shelter behind a trash can that had been knocked into the street in all the commotion.
"Bullseye," he said grimacing. "Like the proverbial bad penny."

Leadership is 2.

Bullseye rolls to Breakaway - roll is 1. Wow, this turn is not going well.

Kraven OWs Black Cat's PC, again. Hopefully, this is the last time he'll have to...

Blizzard will use Running Shot - moves to P13, targets Black Cat. 10 AV vs. 15 DV +1 for hindering - needs a 6. Rolls a critical miss. Suddenly, I'm having flashbacks to our last game...

"Well, great. Everyone's gone and left me," Black Cat observed, "leaving me as the only target on the roof for the bad guys to take pot shots at." Fixing her grapple to the edge of the roof, she rappelled down to the ground.

Elektra seeing the battle shift, left her cover to dash across the street to where her allies were fighting. She cursed the streetlights that glared down, but there was no help for it.

"All right, buddy," Officer Collins said, taking aim at Boomerang. "I missed you once. Not this time." A shot fired and Boomerang clutched at his now-bleeding shoulder.

Blizzard will Push to use Running Shot/Pulse Wave - moves to L10. Rolls a 3. The only guy that hits is the SWAT guy (8 AV vs. 11 DV) for the KO. Will Black Cat force a reroll, or will you take the KO? If rerolled, he gets an 8, which also hits Torch and Black Cat, but not Daredevil. One more click to Blizzard.

Sweating even inside his refrigerated costume, Blizzard saw an opening. Straining, he dashed forward towards their foes. He unleashed a frigid wave of cold, causing Officer Collins to drop to the ground, and everyone else to catch their breaths.

"Shen, now we move," said the Taskmaster, and he drew up next to Daredevil. His student crouched next to him, coiled to strike.

Bullseye glanced at the motorcycle Spiderman held casually overhead. "Nice knowing you, Boomerang," he grinned.

I'll readily accept the 3 from Blizzard. Not like the chances of you rerolling worse were terribly high. I count myself lucky to have just lost the SWAT Guy there.

Well I wasn't going to go after Taskmaster yet, but since you're nice enough to leave him both non-stealthed and without a Ninja to Mastermind to, I'll change my plans. Daredevil first. Daredevil AV9, Taskmaster DV16, that'll require a 7. Drat it. Rolled a 5.

Torch will Running Shot to N3, then try for a hit on Taskmaster himself. AV8 on DV16. Needs me an 8. And a 4. That stinks. Black Cat will use her PC. Got a 7. Should have thought to use it on Daredevil.

Well, you know this was coming. Spider-Man tries to wallop Bullseye with the Heavy Object. AV10 on DV15. Need a 5. There's my 8. So that's 2 +2 for the object = 4 to Bullseye. He's down to his last click.

You do know that N10 (where you have Taskmaster) is not adjacent to M8 (where Daredevil is) right? Your stoty post made it sound like you were trying to base DD.

Daredevil was distracted from Bullseye by the approach of a new threat...
"Taskmaster," he said. "It'll be a pleasure to rid this city of the man who trains so many of its bad elements." He let fly with one of his billy clubs, but Taskmaster ducked.

From behind Daredevil, the Human Torch flew out and took a shot at Taskmaster as well, but again the man's reflexes proved to match his reputation and he rolled safely out of harm's way.

Meanwhile, up on the roof...
"Wait! Where are you going? Not impressed with my lawn darts prowess?" Spider-Man kept up his string of patter. "How about my skill at juggling motorcycles? Whoops! Oh, sorry Bullseye. I didn't mean to drop that on you. I guess I'm not as good at juggling as I thought."
