It didn’t take too long to find what you wanted. It looked like a few individuals were interested in your target, but in connection with what?

You’d been meaning to get around to this person for a few days, and now you knew why. Between what you dug up and what your contacts told you, it was a shut case.

Things had been grim for the past few days. Not only had you come up short in the enlistment department, but some of your cronies had been brought into the light. If you couldn’t recoup your losses ASAP, you’d have to consider going into hibernation. After careful consideration, you felt you had the perfect recruit. You had scouted this individual from afar and wondered why you hadn’t gone after him sooner. You supressed a confident smile as you entered his office, which was only fitting, seeing as his secretary immediately informed you he had already gone home for the day.

As you sat across from your coworker, a single thought came to your mind: either they were dirty, or you had an ulcer the size of a fist. Either way, you were going to call it quits on the Tex-Mex for a bit.

Here we go. Gonna clean up the Senate. Root out the Bad Guys. Hmm. How exactly I am gonna go about this? I wonder if Ask.com has any tips. Okay, let’s take this one step at a time. I’ll start with a person. Okay, got one. I got it! I’ll dig into their governmental history and look for anything fishy. Do I go to the Library of Congress for that? I bet my secretary can help. Or maybe an aide.

You celebrated your recent success with a long lunch, and when you came back to your office you found a red envelope on your desk. Assuming it was incriminating evidence on your target, you opened it with relish, only to stop dead upon seeing the photographs. Stills of you and a young lady taken from a video camera, showing the two of you locked in a naked, amorous, gymnastic embrace, with a time/date stamp at the top corner of each shot. How were you supposed to know Clytemnestra was only 17 years, 360 days old at the time? She looked 18! These are the kind of things that can wreck someone’s political career, but you thought you had successfully buried it. A note attached to one of the stills said, “You know what I want.”

Day 8 - Second Session

It's crunch time in Congress. Time to hit the floor and earn that money!

New Rules

1) Taking Care of Business - You must show up in the Senate every day to take part in the hearings, lawmaking, debates, etc. What this means in game terms is that you must post at least once per Day phase. Failure results in removal due to not being re-elected to office.

2) In a Democracy, He With the Most Votes Wins (er, Loses) - At the end of each Day phase, if a majority is not reached for impeachment, whichever senator has the most votes gets impeached instead. If two senators are tied, they both get the hook. Please keep in mind that votes can still be changed or withdrawn.

It's a tough world out there, so you never know what else might happen...

Ok, I have a bunch of questions.

Da-craig, how exactly does your power work? You are the one who causes people to resign, right? Wouldn't that make you a serial killer?

Doombot, why did you vouch for Iron Ham? He was corrupt. Would that make all those with the post restriction "Women are great, men can suck their ####s" or something like that the mafia?

I've been wondering along those same lines myself. I'm also marveling at the relative lack of any other types of kills since we got rid of the cannibal.

I don't know whether I'm more stunned that such a phrase is possible on here or that Antipathy has such a frightening concept of anatomy.

My guess is that I was misdirected that night and I might indeed be a sane cop since ABF is vouched for. That or something wacky is going on behind the scenes. My brain is just racked with all of these questions that have no answers.

Eye am also surprised that you can post ####/####s. As for Antipathy I'm guessing he can just bend in ways we can't.
