Earth Prime was destroyed and recreated. Superboy Prime spent his time since the first crisis mostly in limbo. That could explain the lack of aging among all parties. And since the new earth prime isn't the old earth prime, all the comics that have come out have come out.

Or something...
Just face it THE ENDING IS TERRIBLE people can sugar coat that sack of #### all they want but in the end it's a bag of #### with sugar on it. Really Superman Prime all but put on Claw's glove from the opening of Inspector Gadget and said "I'll get you next time".
What I expect is that a 7-issue series tell a story within the confines of those 7 issues. While you say that reading Superman Beyond 3D was helpfu, I say it was integral. That is why Final Crisis sucked monkey butt.
One of the other issues I had with Final Crisis is that many a book published with Final Crisis as part of the title was NOT really a part of Final Crisis.
This was a horribly executed series from management to editorial to writing.
I still don't understand this as a criticism to the narrative--it's just bellyaching about an editorial decision. Also, I'm not sure what final crisis tie-ins weren't integral to final crisis (as far as mini-series are concerned) as all the mini-series were certainly informed by the events going on in the main book.
I would tend to agree that there were some huge editorial issues regarding the series (why is this event book having no impact in any other ongoing series, and why does it have no impact now?) but I think the story, as a whole, was excellent (though not necessarily Morrison's best work).
Not sure. But for sure he is doing a better work explaning his return than morrison did, just bringing him appearing running like a sissi in Final Crisis.
I am of course happy that ALL the Legions exist, as I feel attachment to all of them (less so for the threeboot, but that always felt like Elseworlds to me anyway).
I've never liked the post-CoIE "Johnsing" version of Superboy Prime...whoever wrote that he's just a little too "Kid Miracleman" really nailed it....except that Kid Miracleman was an actual villain, whereas SBP was slasher/camp. His "punishment" was not even a punishment...since AFAWK he still has his powers...and it's implied he's terrorized his family and girlfriend as well. Large fail, IMO.
I'm neutral on the Time Trapper aspect, because even if the "explanation" wasn't there, the one in Lo3W #5 was the one that IMO most fans have long accepted...and honestly I wouldn't put it past Geoff Johns to have SBP also turn out to be the Phantom Stranger.
Eh. To each their own. I'm hoping he'll come back and kick everyone's butt.
but he already did that.
The posible follow up of the story could be see Superboy Prime be the "emperor" of Earth Prime and have everybody under his power. But that WOULD NOT be "our" Earth Prime. Every time I the ending of this story I see it better, it is VERY original, and surprised (in the good way) VERY related to this character, and I don't think better thing can be say about endings.
You felt it was such a good idea, you just had to repeat yourself?
What if he accidently takes out Joephisto? And I don't mean on a date.
.
Considering the nature of the character, it probably wouldn't be an accident.
