I don't know....how can a pro placekicker miss all those FG? The 57 yarder I can understand, but the other two? He makes one of those and the game ends in a tie.
And can you imagine if the Jets upset the Colts? How big of a stink that will be since the Colts rolled over in week 16?

Did you hear Rex after the game? He said something to the effect of " I hope Manning plays the whole game this time" or some such. Never liked the Jets, never will, and hated Buddy Ryan, but his kid? I am liking.
Cowboys/Minnesota sheesh Garrett had no plan for that defense. They owned that game. Everybody wants Phillips' head, but I say Jason Garrett needs to be looked at for this crud of a gameplan. Of course the injury to Flo turned the entire blocking scheme into a backyard stick-in-the-dirt plan, but still.....

I fail to see how him missing the field goals make means it wasn't a great game. It was an awesome game. And a playoff game ends in a tie? How does that work exactly?
I like Rex Ryan a ton too, he is my fav coach in the NFL for sure.

If the Colts hadn't played the Jets earlier... and lost to the Jets in that way, I could see the Jets pulling out the upset. But right now, I think the Colts are pissed as Hell.
And I'm gonna be a homer again, because I'm sure the Vikings will be underrated again by the talking heads this week.
Colts over Jets.
Vikings over Saints.
I put Rex Ryan in the Marc Cuban category of sports figures. He's awesome if he's with your team, but annoying as hell if he's not.

Lucky for me I don't have a team. I enjoy watching sports, but could care less who wins. I just like good games and drama. Rex Ryan is awesome for both. Plus he's just this huge fat guy that talks a lot of ####. That's awesome. I want to know the size of that sweater vest he had on.

I think 5X is the over/under. Since I don't care about the AFC that much, I think Rex Ryan is hilarious.
If he was coaching the Packers, I'd probably want to hit him with a folding chair.

Hahahaha yea probably. I've never had a "team" or been a fan of one team or area. I mean I like the bears and notre dame football because I've grown up in the area, but won't conduct a ritualistic group suicide like some of my friends when they lose. Sort of had a rooting interest in the colts lately, just because I went to a preseason game of theirs last year which was cool. But I mainly just like watching good football games
Reggie Bush actually being an aggressive runner, and not running OOB 3 yards shy of the first down because he might get hit?? Whaddya know? They actually talk about him like he's a great player, when he does that! I was very pleased to see him get fired up, bounce around, and stiff arm people to the turf. I was not pleased to see him revert to his pansy-style a little bit in the 3rd quarter. Needless to say, if he would just play like this all the time, there would not be off-season discussion every year about how New Orleans needs a bigger back.
Darren Sharper got robbed out of his own awesomeness a couple of times.
Blitz packages galore this weekend. Loved all of it.
Romo, and frankly, the rest of that Cowboys team, needs to find a way to end the distractions. Every year, they get to this point, lose focus, and lose their shot at a trophy. Basic fundamentals are just completely abysmal, every. damn. year. I actually had the Cowboys written off already, going into this weekend. And I think that is going to continue until they do something else in the playoffs. How many playoff years is this, in a row, that Romo has missed a handoff or toss to the running back?
I'm concerned that both the Saints and Vikings have overdone it this week. I'm concerned that the Jets are happy and content with where they are, now. I'm concerned that the Colts are the only team that's going to show up for the next two games.
I'd like to see the Saints and Jets in the Super Bowl. But right now, I think it's going to be the Saints and Colts. The Vikings are going to understandably be the underdogs, going into the NFC championship game. Because you do not bring a passing offense to the Superdome right now. To be quite honest, AP is not getting the blocking he needs, and it is showing rather deliberately.
