I actually just use it when I'm being jokingly sarcastic. Rokk felt he had something in that some people had "Dark" mentioned somewhere. I pointed out that you're the only one saying something about Templars, as a sarcastic response. Nothing funny about it, and when you asked, I took it upon myself to explain what they were.

Aside from the Templars in Starcraft lore, which wouldn't apply, and the templars in Diablo, which wouldn't apply, the only other ones I know are the ones in Dragon Age, which would definitely apply. So there you go.

As it happens, I traded some Decipher Star Trek CCG cards for a totally legitimate copy of Alone in the Dark. Couple Klingon ships, some missions, and maybe Tasha Yar. Doom, on the other hand - that totally came from some FTP site that the University of Iowa was hosting.
